I'd like a minor buff to the R-2 Harbinger. Its a very stylish gun, but its per-shot bloom modifier is insanely high and its initial equip accuracy is non-existent, presumably as some short-sighted quick-switch deterrent (nevermind that the low damage would never really make it the best option for such as use anyway).

Remove the initial equip bloom and cap the max accuracy modifier to something tamer, and it could be a decent faster-firing, softer-hitting ACT44, or something.

Oh, I like this, I have one but never use it because of that actually. Would save me the trouble of renting or buying another ranged secondary.

If we're talking about what needs buffing, I'd love to see some of the lesser used vehicles in the game get some love (Without their health being increased). Many cars need to be far heavier than they are right now (looking at you Moirai).

True, true. Actually, why the hell is my Pioneer weaker than a Fresno? But anyway, yeah, lots of cars seems hella light. I don't like being pushed around so I'm almost always in my Pioneer.

  2. I would like if all silenced guns (with the mod, not the DMR/SD) had the effect of removing the radar signature over a certain distance like the Raptor (I think that was the name of the legendary weapon). I only use silenced weapons cause of the sound these days, it honestly feels like nothing but drawbacks using a silenced version of an unsilenced gun. -1 bullet in the mag, less hard damage, still show up on radar anyway. I think the weapons are fairly audible enough that removing the radar signature wouldn't provide an overwhelming advantage.

Anyway, sorry for being off topic.

I do agree with increasing the player limit per district, if the servers can handle it. And I never played the game that long ago where I'd see blue tracers so idk how to feel about those

Here's another example - Buff percs.

I want to just say NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. But I'll wait til I have a valid argument other than "Fuck you, I hate percs!"

    Got it:

It doesn't need a buff because it's pretty strong as it is for both LTL and lethal gameplay. Any stronger and it would render other types of grenades useless for anti-personnel combat with it's already quick throw time and impact detonation.

  4. Just curious, there's a lot of nerf threads spawning everyday, but wouldn't you guys rather buff something you currently use rather than nerfing what others are using? Just saying.

Here's an example, buff the trunk space in my Coywolf so I can run ammo depot and still carry a briefcase :)

You may now debate why this is probably a bad idea (even I think it is to an extent, doesn't mean I'd cry if they did it though)

EDIT: I think it's a bad idea because the Coywolf is already fast, agile and carries 4. Being able to carry items (without having someone hold it in their lap and thus preventing them from shooting out the windows) kinda seems like it'd be a bit too versatile.

    My current garage has:

    • cars that are fast but carries 2 persons and up to 1 large item
    • trucks/suvs that are slow but tough, carries 4 persons and enough truck space to carry 3 large items for those really annoying pick up missions (or the 5 medium items in Creme la Crime)
    • a van for ram raiding
    • and finally, the Coywolf, if this could also carry items in the trunk while having 3 shooters and enough speed to outrun some other cars... seems a little much.

  5. Radar jammer should have a lower rank requirement so people who don't feel like destroying radars can at least hide.

you want a gun that's good at cqc and is good at blowing up cars. weapons have to have a certain balance of pros and cons to make them seem fair. that's how you get complaints of p2w guns.

take a look at the dmr-av. it excels in very long range combat to give you a fast 2-hit kill, and has higher "hard damage" to vehicles. keep in mind, this is a weapon offered through ARMAS, which has been described as a place where you can purchase things that offer an "alternative playstyle".

whether or not if that vague statement means that they can offer a benefit without a negative, I'm sure you understand what I'm trying to get at.

all they did was slap on more hard damage for the AV version of the DMR.

if you find yourself lacking in cqc power, use your additional secondary slot. pick up an nfa9 or a PDW. I personally think they are both viable.

or a Joker RFP (aka mini-obir, aka crutch, aka pocket-rocket, aka who-let-this-pass-QC, aka why-is-the-sibling-variant-still-"bugged").

that thing is TOO strong for its own good. offers incredible mid to close range power for being a secondary. if memory serves me right, connecting all three bullets in that single burst causes 40 damage.

i type too much and no one is going to read this.

    I read it

I don't think you understand that taking an AV weapon will cripple you in most fights and yes I could take a fast ttk secondary but I don't have the g1c to pay for any of the Mountie variants. Most players only use AV weapons in vehicle mission or when trying to stop people from running.

I mean, simply because APB has so many scenarios and no gun can cover them all, you have to make decisions, either have a loadout focusing only on fighting people and suffer from their vehicles or adapt and mix up your loadout. Whenever I use my ALIG, I run a smg secondary for CQC. Not the best, but I do have grenades, like everyone who's finished the tutorial.

Btw, I had a friend that used an ALIG for EVERYTHING. And she was damn good with it.

    • Fighting the same opp that one-sidedly kicked my patootie 2-4 times in a row. Really matchmaking?
    • Full-auto OSCARs
    • CQC N-HVRs
    • High (health/stamina) damage weapons + Perc combos
    • District chat
    • About 80% of the whispers I get

After some more thinking, these came to mind:

    • Teammates that run.
    • Enemies that run.
    • Enemies that run with car surfer.
    • Enemies that run with car surfer, get caught and then lose to me pulling the same cheap trick on them complaining about it.
    • Enemies that put the pick-up item in a hard af place to reach where the entire district and their grandmothers can shoot me down from 100 times before I get to it.

You know what really grinds my gears?

    1. People who use med spray with Clotting Agent 3

    2. People who get out of my car too early when i'm parking it right next to the objective then Complain they "had to walk all the way there" THIS

    3. ANYONE who takes my car and doesn't realize Only i should be the one driving. THIS

    4. People asking me to give them a gun (only legendaries are tradable mate not giving you my Anubis just for an ironic joke)

    5. Whenever i use a rocket and it goes To the right because im behind cover and hits my teammate's car which then starts a chain reaction of car explosions and kills me. THIS (kinda, no chain explosions, just a wasted rocket, and on top of that, I usually get punished with a bullet to the face)

    6. The same enemies complaining about "Your running lol noob" Who lost to me the previous mission with the same tactics when they tried to run (We just used their cheap tactic against them only better) THIS

    7. ANYONE besides me doing the objective when i have Mark 4 Equipment and we have to wait for little Timmy to finish hacking an objective that takes an eternity THIS (though I usually just tell them to let me do it and they move)

    8. The fact there's objectives that literally says "Plant Bug" like apb doesn't have enough problems (hack objectives too ug) Lol

    9. "Vandalize" objectives that are impossible to defend (see page 26. in "Teammates with percs How To Punish Them") Good thing I'm Crim for now

    10. Trying to survive an alig (or a second osmaw trying to reload and fire) by repairing with blowtorch while under fire Haha! I'm the ALIG in this scenario. And I just wait for your torch to die out.

Then To really show me the game wanted me to lose badly I spawned upside down, In a Mobile Car spawn 600 meters away.

No idea how that is even possible as i can't select the car spawner (and if i could it was 600 meters away so regardless i couldn't)

Wow. Just wow... Like... That shit actually happens?

Here is the problem. I don't say make it ultrarealistic and 2 pistol rounds are enough to stop a car when you hit the tires, but cars, like stated by the author of the opening post are hard to get down. I regularly play Medusa for example and I need 1.5 up to 2 mags (all shots on target) to get most cars to smoke due to upgrades in the cars. We're not even talking an armored police vehicle like the pioneer. So I pretty much agree with the point, that running away from a point you might have to defend, just to destroy a spawn vehicle is too risky, takes too much time and costs a massive amount of ammo.

The Medusa, even though it's an LMG, is more suited as an anti-personnel weapon. It's simply not good vs vehicles.

Dunno what to say though, car spawners are annoying but I just adapted to them I guess. Besides, I generally have at least one anti-vehicle item on me at all times so it doesn't affect me as much as other people.

My only issue with car spawners is my issue with the spawn system, you can spawn in view of the enemy and if you aren't looking in the right direction RIGHT back into the respawn menu you go, or you spawn as they osmaw it or something. The car spawners themselves are fine and if you have an issue with them run ALIG, Osmaw, OPGL, or just do what I do and ace the whole enemy team, then camp the car from outside the 'nearby enemy range' and kill them once (yes that is the same thing I hate about them but... it's feature of the game despite how annoying it is).

Plant a satchel charge and don't blow it

50% chance to kill someone spawning in it seconds later xD

Idk why but it works lol

I love it, its funny to me really. Anything that makes you laugh is a win with this game. That's why i love the rag doll and car physics.

I mean, I felt like I was relying on it too much. So I'm putting it down to get my other skills up to par then I can use it again. It's really fun to use with brick though :3 Especially when they don't notice I jumped out and they're shooting the bomb heading their way lol

In before someone makes a post to have that nerfed or removed.

Radar or remote det? There's already a post to nerf remote det at least. It's already hard to get (a lot) of kills with it if the enemy's smart enough.

  11. 3 minutes ago, Rolpack said:

Yet doesn't know about the car spawner cooldown of 120 seconds.

Car spawners are pretty useless nowadays, the real meta is in radar tower yo.

Radar is hella useful. Girlfriend pairs it with remote det xD

  12. 9 minutes ago, Nite said:

It doesn't even take that much, 1 large ammo box + 1 or 2 low yields is enough to smoke most non-heavy vehicles. Even better with frags since the box will resupply the nade you just spent even before it gets destroyed.

There's really no cause to waste a magazine of bullets on a Mobile Spawn unless you don't have Large Ammo Box equipped.

Oh, I mean to completely destroy it. Besides, 240 bullets is enough to get the job done before I find somewhere, literally ANYWHERE to refill (or die and refill anyway)

  13. 10 minutes ago, Dragonshaman said:

This is given the fact that you have a gun to damage it quickly, before the bloody mission ends.

Have fun shooting all your clips into a pioneer, and good luck if there's multiple of them. Takes a lot of time AND You need to resupply, all while the time is ticking away.

Also, you may have a car spawner at the start, but you only get one, and you can't remove it from your macchina calabria. So if you want to use any other car, you're screwed.

The Macchina Calabria is really easy to blow up so it can't compare to a pioneer car spawner, which takes a lot of bullets or 2 grenades directly under the car.

    1 ATAC mag and a frag :)

    5 minutes ago, Dragonshaman said:

When the objective is one a bridge, and the car spawner is below the bridge on the complete opposite side of your 200m spawns, and your enemy actually knows how to play, you're not going to get that car spawner before all the enemies respawn.

Get it while their alive. I know what you mean though, the really good players with a car spawner are hell to fight against. But assuming you do ignore the objective for a bit and take out the spawner and they don't have to ability to spawn a new one without leaving the area, then you have a fighting chance.

It's just that the longer it takes for you to commit to ignoring the objective and taking out the spawner, the more costly it is later on. Leaving the objective with 3 minutes on the clock is very different from doing so when there's 1 minute left.

No worries mate. I had a desktop pc though 😏 Single core cpu with 2ghz and some nvidia gpu so tell me about it 😏 Played like that from 2011 to 2014

Ouch, at least you had a dedicated GPU, I had Intel 3000HD. One game actually explicitly said they didn't support it and only it.

You're absolutely right about that, i adopted playing with 15-25 fps when i started, and when i finaly got a new pc i was even better then i was

It went as high as 25? Screw you, I had 9fps (bad day) - 15fps (great day)

Jk about the screw you, but it really was that bad. I changed my laptop too so 60fps ftw! (Well, my GPU pushes out more but my screen can't show it.)
