Requesting Back up = "pending" with nothing. Op team gets full backup.

Had this twice today. 

    Definity an issue that needs to be resolved for "balance / Fairness"    

 

Event detail :  Option for backup / Support is available to us. when we have requested it,, the OP team gets backup/support (1 or 2 players) , but we just got a "pending" message, and no backup / support for the entire match. 

 

 I would understand if this was a way of queuing players to join,  But this completely through the balance even further in the OP teams way.   the server was near cap for both sides. so players if "ready" was not an issue. 

 

Il try to explain how this effected us . 

So if we say the team balance  was 60/40   (60 for the criminals  being the skill/experience, weapons, number of players etc) in the first case related to the screen shot, the OP team was 2 players out ranking and advanced guns,   then my team was 40,  has the reason for option to call backup/support, my self a 255 but my  random team mate was a low 30 rank,   but in this case  we got "pending" and the OP got another 150+ Rank player..   this match ended with my low rank team mate sideling, and I was trying to fight 3 skilled players on my own.

I am not a technical woman, but I hope they would remove the Escalation progress and instead reimplement the old calling for backup until a better solution is established. I'm a lovely silver that gets full slaughtered by a group of golds, and I don't hate and rage because of that, but I would love to face a team who's at the same level as me.

 

If the new system was supposed to do so, I can just say it doesn't work that way for me at least. Maybe because I am that bad not sure, but at least I am still trying to make the best out of it. Even if I get slaughtered 24/7 ^_^

@Ardita I am  sure you are more technical then you let on. 

the Whole Silver gold status thing is its own problem,.  "escalation" = Back up .. is just simply trying its best to match equal strengths together which unfortunately since a while back means the match making is across bronze silver gold .. 
the old system could be subverted by "skilled players" purposely playing bad, low accuracy, low hit rates, 1 kill 1 assist and many deaths, etc for many match's to; 
1) Drop badge from gold to silver or in many cases to green... (this was due to servers being locked out by badge type, Green servers, bronze servers, silver and gold,. golds being filled with swets and cheats) 
2) be dropped into a lower class match making to then basically slaughter the lesser 'skilled in the match. 

so the logic of the new system is that its more fine tuned and able to look across a wider range of states etc.. but it has to work first by actually getting you the backup . an not just giving the already stronger team an extra stronger player LOL.. 

And it not working for you "because I am that bad" is not a reason, time of day, players on at that time, connection etc are all stats, but also how the other team mates play.    

playing with randoms will always be way more difficult especially against a team on comm's (team using discord communicating) some randoms just die and run straight in, again and again, some decide they will just try and snipe and wait for the kill to come to them, and some times you do get randoms that just don't shoot at the enemy when they can see your doing the objective taking fire.... 

so get your self in a little squad, and try to flank, pick off the snipers, gang up on the strong ones etc.  let me know if you want to JiG.

With that said, I should be very. very, very unlucky to hit that exact "wrong time and wrong place" time of the day and players online at that time. Nah, I think it's me who could practice a bit more :3

It's not I don't get the term of the current system, I didn't speak anything about playing in group of discorders vs playing with randoms either..

- I actually like play with randoms, new people might make new connections. Besides, I was used to play in groups in years but when people leave and I'm quite mostly active in designing and Breakwater Marina that speaks for itself. ^.^
