DumSAS 5 Posted August 15 (edited) Hello everyone I am a mid-tier player, who enjoyed playing heavy sniper rifles in the past. I might aswell put a disclaimer: all I'm saying here is my point of view and I'm not claiming to have the ultimate truth Since last three NHVR nerfs imo it became close to be unplayable. Slow moving speed, slow reticle closure, damage reduction if you are not fully aiming. I saw many players using NHVR in the past but now there are none. Why use 762 if there literally is a better version? I think last nerf (overall damage reduction) was a bit overkill on that matter. I understand that some players might not use NHVR as it was intended, quickswitching to pistol after one hit, but with previous two nerfs that playstyle requiers some skill to play. But now, 770 damage dealt with one of the heaviest weapons in the game sounds like a joke, especially when a lighter version with higher mobility, and higher aiming speed deals nearly the same impact I cant see players using this weapon and I can tell why. If after all theese nerfs noone uses a gun, doesnt it mean that its not fun to play anymore? Why remove gun from the game that already has 2-3 meta guns dominating almost entire playerbase? And I cant even say it was because its not fun to play AGAINST NHVR 762. All and all nothing really changed. Players still use two-shots-to-kill sniper rifles and even are much more mobile with them I hope that you guys might reconsider all the nerfs and at least give us, heavy sniper rilfe players, our favorite weapons damage back. To me APB always was about customising and chosing the strategy that suits you and not about adapting to meta assault/sharpshooter rifles Edited August 15 by DumSAS
Yapopal 168 Posted August 15 This rifle would suit a mechanic from a DMR rifle. It deals fatal damage at a distance of 97-100 meters. This would be a great remedy against campers. It should also be noted that such a short distance (3 meters) will not allow fatal damage to moving targets.

Actually yeah, Never thought about that but yes, that would be a great reconsideration for NHVR. Though 97-100 meters is quite small gap to be able to calculate mid-fight. I'd say 50-60+ meters would do just fine
