In my case, I don't want to see at admin tracker or the unread content, posts from categories that I have no interest in them. For example, as I am APB PC EU player, I am not interested in the Fallen Earth category, and it's subcategories. Also at the recruitment section, I have interest only in EU - PC recruitment category.
