Axt0N 0 Posted February 14, 2023 So after the update everything was fine. But today I started having an issue - it just blue screens the crap out of my Windows. I've tried to repair, reinstall the game, updating my drivers, etc. Nothing works. It was a nice week of playing the game, I guess..:D If anyone could help - I'd appreciate. My PC specs: ASUS ROG G750JZ-QB71-CB Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700HQ CPU @ 2.40GHz 24.0 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX880M 4GB 1920 x 1080 60Hz Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

DX9 install below Make a folder called DX9. Run the DX9 you got from Microsoft website. It'll ask for you to set a location to extract to. Use the folder you made. I had one corrupted audio file dropped into my playlist - so APB couldn't handle it and caused the crash. But then after the latest update same thing happened again, so I've tried to delete all the music and try this thing you've said - it doesn't work. But there comes the question - will I get banned for not using BE when playing the game? I do not intend to cheat or anything, I just want to enjoy the game. Should try to run repair and see if it happens again that way it can install BattleEye again, maybe it just was a bad install.
