Symbol Outline Errors

Summary: Some of the recent symbols produce strange results when given the "Outline" effect

 

Description: The following symbols have cut-off outlines when given the "Outline" effect in the symbol editor:

  • Anniversary Grenade
  • Anniversary SMG
  • Anniversary Sniper
  • Anniversary Open Revolver
  • Anniversary Rifle
  • Celebrating 10 Years

The following symbols have extremely thin or broken outlines when given the "Outline" effect in the symbol editor:

  • Occult Font
  • Snowcap Font
  • Ballet Dancer
  • Yeti
  • Broom
  • Top Hat
  • Krampus
  • Holiday Lights
  • Sad Snowman
  • Pipe
  • Rat King
  • Scarf

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Purchase/Obtain any symbols listed above
  2. Enter into the Symbol Designer
  3. Create a new symbol
  4. Add one of the symbols listed above into the layers
  5. With the symbol selected, change the "Effect" from "No Effect" to "Outline" 

 

How many times have you recreated this bug: 100%

 

Results: Symbols from most of the Anniversary Pack have the outer regions of their outline cut off. While symbols from the Occult Font set, Snowcap Font set, and Christmas primitive set, have extremely thin or broken outlines.

 

Expected Results: Outlines maintain a uniform outline effect without being cut short, broken, or extremely thin.
