About Me

  1. As title; I updated a very old version of the game yesterday and all went fine but at the Eac screen a dll error popped up: "Vcruntime140.dll was not found". Today I got help from someone who knows what this even means, and this is fixed by installing the (updated) "VC Runtime files from Microsoft". This is the official Microsoft site for vc runtime: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2015-2017-2019-and-2022 This is the official Microsoft link to the x64 version (64bit Windows): https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe And this is the official Microsoft link to the x86 version (32bit Windows) for very old computers I guess: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe Got told you only need one version so check if you Windows is "32 or 64 bit" I guess? Also got told that you can just install both if you don't know for sure. I have no more error. I think this only happens when you update after a long time. okbye
