Yes, it did happen, and apparently it was during the day, so essentially it's a possiblity that infact occured. What exactly is one expected to do in the given scenario ? Act friendly with the thief and brush it off as if nothing happened ? I mean, that'd be the most rational and logical thing to do if the victim was a western cuck.
