    They never said anything about the last ban wave during the BE days besides there were erroneous bans and they were rolling them back, so sure you can say that the majority of them are cheaters, but with only one ban wave actually being rolled back during the time that LO owned this game, and them not making a statement on the number of bans that were or were not mistakes, I don't think it's fair to run around holding up signs calling people cheaters quite yet. Let's just see if a rollback occurs or not instead of going "haha lol pwnd cheater!" this community is so vindictive for no reason.

    Look, it's wonderful that you guys are listening to our complaints, but the idea of "don't release numbers because people will write off the changes without trying them" is a bit of a half-truth, it wasn't the fact that the numbers that made us not play, it was the fact that the changes were flat out silly and didn't require testing to know that they'd be awful. I remember when the first round of changes went out last year for the shotguns and Artemis, everyone was downloading OTW to try them out, even though we were provided with numbers. Why? Because the changes were meaningful and intriguing, there was a genuine air of mystery to how they would directly impact gameplay. I didn't try the last round of changes with the Fang because it didn't take any tests, I've played with the RFP enough to know that just reducing the damage to make it an extra burst to kill and then extending the range was clearly a misstep in the wrong direction.

    Pretty sure mail with attachments on it doesn't automatically expire, so you'll be fine.

    Cores are irrelevant in APB, you can throw 32 cores at it and get the same FPS as you would with 2 or 4 cores of similar performance, because it only utilizes one core.

    Unfortunately, this won't work because further segregating an already small and divided player base will just make queue times longer and servers more dead.

    Ripley's believe it or not, you don't have to do other things while waiting. You can go AFK until your game is ready if you desire, but some people actually do...you know...not want to wait in a dead district for a match that may never start?

    Can we just remove threat segregated districts all together? If there's no immediate fix in sight, then just don't give them the incentive to do it in the first place.

     

    Unfortunately, this doesn't fix the problem of new players getting railed though. I don't know how we can fix that, and removing threat segregation won't help at all.

    And no, we not gonna migrate to USA. Pretty sure half of CItadel will be gone when such merge to USA would happen.

    I'm playing from the USA and only getting 80-120ms depending on the district and time of day. Another person in my friend group is from Cali and gets 160ms at worst. Entirely playable, but shouldn't be forced upon people.

     

    EDIT: Also as someone who came from Jericho to Citadel, I didn't drop from Gold or even begin playing like a Silver, even at 120ms with 5 packet loss (thanks Comcast lul)

    The blatant cheaters in this game prevent that, and it's something that shouldn't have to be out right pointed out. Especially to a "Top Tier" player.

    You're obviously not internalizing your own mistakes in your play and reflecting on them to get better, but rather externalizing it and blaming anything but yourself for your inability to get better. If you actually cared to get better at the game, you wouldn't be on the forums arguing that every single player you play against that beats you is cheating, you would be asking how you could've won or played better, or watching players better than yourself in order to see how they set their teammates up to succeed and how they move around the map.

    This covers it pretty well, but if you want the short version, in 1.0 the Allagans trap Bahamut in Dalamud, the Garleans bring Dalamud to Eorzea and Bahamut blows everything up, the Warrior of Light gets sent 5 years into the future and kills all the primals, Gaius who leads the Garleans launches an assault on Eorzea, Gaius and The Ultima Weapon get btfo by Lahabrea who blows up everything, Alphinaud is an idiot so the Scions implode, then in 3.0, the Ishgardians are like "bro Au'Ra bad lets mass genocide them because they dragon" and the dragons are all "woah these guys backstabbed us and stole our powers what a bunch of jerks" and then the Ishgardians and the Dragons fight and it's like "cool" but you realize Y'shtola hasn't been around much in the beginning of 3.0 and late 2.0 but that's because she got trapped in the aether stream which leads to her becoming blind, so then you find out that Yda isn't Yda but actually Lyse and Stormblood happens which reforms the Scions, and Zenos basically just beats the shit out of the Scions, the Scions have the Echo which allows them to manipulate the past and the WoL has the Blessing of Light so this is the first time the WoL truly gets their patootie handed to them, this leads to Zenos becoming the big spook man but then he dies and I haven't played 4.0 so...yeah.

    The engine upgrade won't change how effective a serverside anti-cheat is. The community really likes to put the engine upgrade as the be all end all of anti-cheat, content, performance, and communication problems. It's not that.
