I feel LMGs in this game are pretty much useless. All except for maybe the Kraken. I also haven’t used all LMGs so this is based on what I have used. My proposed rework is this: - Bloom - Have the LMGs reach max bloom after about half of its ammo before reloading. - Damage - Make damage dependent on fire rate. But have them on the weaker side. - Movement Speed - Have the speed you move while holding a LMG slow you down more. Slow as in between where it is now and as if your holding a Volcano rocket launcher. So my thinking for this changes would change LMGs to be a more aggressive support weapon. The Reduced Bloom and Damage will help you lay covering fire to keep the opposing team away to let teammates go in at a different angle or come from somewhere else. You will do decent damage but would also want to keep your distance if you have a direct engagement with the enemy. I enjoy using LMGs in games but I just can’t figure them out in this game. They don’t seem to do good damage to vehicles. They are more inaccurate than assault rifles and some SMGs at a medium to long distance. They also don’t deal good damage due to recoil and needing to crouch at short to long distances. Even crouching can do nothing for some guns as the bloom is worse than a sniper. If you think LMGs are fine as is, please let me know which LMGs are worth giving a shot, what mods to slap on it, and strategies on using it effectively. I am willing to adjust if I am using these guns wrong. Thanks for reading. FireHitPanic

If the game is not cross platform it is not valid to take money from one and send it to another. This could cause lawsuits easily. Except it's fake in-game currency. Yes some of the guns are paid but they could also always keep guns platform exclusive also.

I know that, excect the marketplace could be an easy way to at least have the different one interact. Who cares if it has different economies blend them then. Make it one. I could be wrong but didn't the devs say they want to catch console up to the PC version. If that is a thing and it happens then this will potentially work.

They should make the marketplace Cross-Platform so you could buy stuff from all platforms. Of course platform specific stuff won't show up for the other platforms. This way there is more stuff to find on the marketplace and also shows everyones creativity and not just the people on your platform.

Maybe it's just because the game's server is constantly being hit and I get the "ghost bullet hit marker (hit marker but does no damage)," but I always keep getting out shot by every gun it feels like, whether it be long range to close range. Even my friend who is better with the gun than me has just about the same luck. I guess it's hard to judge the guns sometimes in this game when losers keep hitting the servers making everyone lag. Also maybe before I judge the guns maybe I should hold my opinion until they make the servers harder to be hit by people who have no respect for the gamers who play APB and the APB itself and possibly the new engine update might help fix things. I guess right now for it's hard to tell because it feels like we are playing a game in beta. I guess right now in it's current state it feels like some guns need a buff and some a nerf to some degree. But maybe once they get the game more engine-wise up to date and get the servers fixed (if they haven't already), it might fix the problems I have been encountering. However I don't know what platform you play on, but I am on Xbox and there seems to be a ton of problems with it with lag and everything.

OK maybe the tryhard and feeding off of noobs was a incorrect thing to assume. Usually it seems the people saying the guns are fine as is, seem to be people who like using OP guns and recking noobs to be a jerk. Sorry about assuming your one of those people. Also still the problem is with the N-TEC compared to the Temptress is, the N-TEC shoots faster and can be just as accurate tap firing. The temptress needs to do more than fully-automatic guns even if it's just one bullet less than fully automatic guns to kill.

Idk what your talking about I can do good with almost every weapon in the past CoDs all the way back to BO2. Also just ignoring CoD altogether, all the AAA shooters have relatively the same formula for a balanced shooter. Bolt Action Snipers and Shotguns deal the most damage. With those guns making them semi-automatic or automatic does less damage. LMGs and Rifles tend to be around the same area in damage and depending on the speed and if it's automatic, semi-automatic, or burst. SMGs are similar in that the faster they are, the less damage it does. However, they do probably least amount of damage. Secondaries usually I'd say are between LMGs/Assualt Rifles and Snipers/Shotguns since they need to be good enough to be viable when you run out of ammo on the primary gun. Then there is range which typically are, Snipers, LMGs, Assault Rifles, Pistols/SMGs (depends on how accurate the SMG is, Shotguns. Kevlar is just a 30% max hp... OK. It makes it sound like it's more like armor not a HP boost. Didn't look too much into what kevlar actually does so I apologize for that will make an edit to remove it. So your fine with OP guns that overshadow most guns in the game? You must be one of the tryhards feeding off of noobs Edit: Sorry about that part of comment. APB to me seems like a game all about creativity with your character in a shooter. It has one of the best customization in games I have played apart from the face in editor to in game looking like bad. The gun you use should reflect that. My friends and I have a group of enforcers all based around the L4D characters. I was stuck with Zoey so for me to fully roleplay as her I need to use the temptress which feels like it takes way to many bullets to kill compared to automatic rifles.

Can we please get an overhaul of the weapons rebalanced so no one gun is more OP than another. or at least be just barely not as good as some guns. They should be balance like in CoD. Not in damage or anything but in the sense of how balanced the gun system is. Every gun is OP in it's own way. We need that with APB. As I said I don't want snipers 1 shot and everything like that. Just so the guns are all equally good to use because right now some guns really overshadow everything else. Heck I don't mind some guns being more OP than others but not to the point that it breaks the game. Edit: Another way of me explain this is all the AAA shooters have relatively the same formula for a balanced shooter or even fairly-balanced shooter. Then there is range which typically are, Snipers, LMGs, Assault Rifles, Pistols/SMGs (depends on how accurate the SMG is), Shotguns. Also Mods are a great thing but I swear we need more of them I can't specifically think of much other mods should be added but we need for. These are ones I can think of: Dual Wielding for Semi-Auto Guns. No Burst or Full Auto A mod that will allow you to do more damage to someone who has Kevlar. If Armor piercing mod doesn't do that. Edit: Took this out because I was made aware it's effect wasn't what I thought it was. Edit: APB to me seems like a game all about creativity with your character in a shooter. It has one of the best customization in games I have played apart from the face in editor to in game looking bad. The gun you usually reflect either the character's play style or your play style. My friends and I have a group of enforcers all based around the L4D characters. I was stuck with Zoey so for me to fully role play as her I need to use the temptress which feels like it takes way to many bullets to kill compared to automatic rifles.

Yeah that to. I even at first didn't realize that until my friend told me to wait and the reason why. So much important parts of the game are not explained. And as I said before if they do explain any of this in the tutorial messages, they are way to long and can be condensed. I never bother reading it because it's such a big block of text. I basically have a degree in graphic design (just got to pass my summer class and I am got it) and I have learned that most people see a huge block of text, ignore it. I even fall under that category, I see too much text and I don't read it. That's why I try to put spaces between paragraphs for my thoughts. It makes appear as not as much text as it would as a big block of text which makes it easier to read.

I feel though there needs some better explaining though in the tutorial on what to do. So if that means changing the tutorial or something else. Also if they do explain stuff in the big blocks of text sent in the messages, it needs to be condensed. Especially since contacts, for example, I can explain it in two or three sentences that gives enough information to. Also by what I mean change tutorial, I mean modifying the current system to better explain the game. What they do right now is good but it can be better in introducing new people to the game. I guess this suggestion of mine all comes down to there needs to be a better way to introduce new players to the game. Contacts are really confusing at first even though once you understand it it's pretty simple. I sort of feel they should just remove the post-basic tutorial (Enforcer/Criminal tutorial). My friend who is super experienced says he has never completed it on any of his characters. If not remove the post-basic tutorial tutorial change it to be more mission based since from what I have played everyone does. Mission Based, as of Spray a point, deliver a package, deliver a vehicle, and stuff like that. I hardly find criminals as an enforcer doing the acts needed to complete the enforcer tutorial and as a criminal I find what needs to be done poorly explained to the point it doesn't feel worth going for. I guess the best way to summarize what I want changed to tutorial are better explanations on how, what, and why I need to do some of the things. Obviously not all tutorial parts need a why (ex: movement and combat).

There needs to be a tutorial district for noobs how don't know the basics of a multiplayer game. I am tired in running into teammates that do nothing or kill you because they don't understand any multiplayer basics. It's gotten to the point for me that there are new players and noobs. New players understand how to do missions and cooperate with teammates. Noobs kill EVERYONE and can't complete a mission because they lack a functioning brain. They should be required to finish the tutorial basics and max out at least 2 contacts to be able to play with people who know what they are doing. Also for the tutorial district I'd like to see some things better explained since getting started in this game can be pretty confusing since nothing is really explained and it's not really that intuitive for beginners. All that's really explained pledging to a contact but never really explains why and equipping various stuff. I swear I love this game but it sometimes feels like this game was released in pre-beta. Guns are super unbalanced, servers are crap (as of people hit the servers too easily), there are hardly any guns in the game (I'm counting variants of guns together since it's basically the same model for the gun), your face in game looks nothing like what you created. I feel the only really good thing about this game that really feels fleshed out is customizing clothing and vehicles (as of decals/putting shapes or text on stuff) and maybe the contacts if they were explained slightly better when starting off. I also have to say they should really make ammo just free and you just have to restock at wherever (if thats what happens right now then tutorial is totally misleading). Before I possibly get flamed for that last paragraph I truly enjoy the game but it has it's problems some more major than others. To me this is what is stopping me from playing nonstop. I currently really only play it for a few hours each day because one can take only so much crap at once.
