    Oh my God, it's not removed, it's a bug, something happened to the server. Just be patient, it will come back, and in the meantime stop the outrage, it's unhealthy for you.

    I made a typo, I meant "monetary gains" lol, but yeah, we're in agreement here. I think Matt was honest when he said APB looked like a cool, unique property and that he wanted to really do something with it. Hopefully it won't be a money pit for him.

    Indeed, this game is unique, and one day in the future it may need to be shut down, but I'm hopeful that LO will be good to it, add what needs to be added, and give us all a few more years of fun.

I really believe that Matt and his company/team are going to make a good difference to APB and are doing it for money yes, but also because they see that APB is a seriously great game and us, the community really want this to be the game that RTW dreamed about but never delivered.

    Well they have to make money, but it seems to me that if LO were purely motivated by monetary gains, they wouldn't buy a dying, neglected property that had lost most of its playerbase.

    I would agree with you, I think it needs a TTK increase, like one more bullet to kill or something. Even after the changes, it's basically amazing at most ranges. Giving it one more shot to kill would nerf it at close range, while leaving it relatively untouched at long range (most long range weapons have high TTKs after all).

    i would add a special threat for real permaGold, League of Legend use Diamond threat level for about 3% of population, and this is the most great incentive for a gold to not "dethreath" in my vision.

    like a champion label.

    plus LOL give to diamond team/clan that won official championship some rare benefit that influence entire game (like the skins,gadget).

     

    however the real problem is that different server threat give different PC game performance , maybe 10 fps are nothing for good pc, but for a 50/60fps pc is like a stomp on foot.

    i can beat every silver in bronze district, but carry me in a silver district and also the pedestrians are able to kill me. 😞

     

     

    I think threat is wrong-headed in the first place, it shouldn't be visible to anyone. Matchmaking/MMR/etc. should not be player facing. That's the only way to balance the game in its current state, as the game's weapons and mechanics are generally balanced, but the matchmaker usually created imbalanced matches. Of course the only way to resolve that is cross-district matchmaking.

    I think this is different. LO are people who make games. G1 were people who sold games.

    I don't believe TechMech for a moment when he said he's never made money on APB. I think things became unprofitable and unsustainable when so many players left due to RG's mistakes, and so he was either going to shut it down, or sell it. Glad to see it got sold.

    The way he was talking strongly implies he is a gamer. I would be surprised if he wasn't. I imagine if he wanted to play the game though, just for his own enjoyment, he would be stealth on another account.

    True enough, but I'm happy to see the announcement by itself bringing so many people back to the game. Servers are more populated than they've been in a long, long time.

    Personally, I'd like Reloaded dropped from the title. Have it just called APB, like before. But all these name changes could just confuse people.

    Who knows, there may be some legal issue with going back strictly to APB, but I'm not against the idea. My only concern is getting BattlEye in, finishing the graphics upgrade, and then promoting the game again to get fresh blood playing with us. This game can be saved, it has so much potential, but it's up to LO to realize that potential.

    i should be bronze , never understood where the game sys find any kind of combat skill in my fight style.

    People who dethreat aren't usually real golds. I go between gold and silver frequently due to my badness at the game (I used to be a lot better and was perma gold for years), and the golds I fight on the bronze server are almost always trash at the game, even to me... and I'm about as rusty as a nail in the ocean.

    No, it's not a good idea. Threat segregation was a mistake in the first place, doing this would only encourage further toxicity and isn't conducive to the long term health of the game.

    Funny, but it does make me wonder if it needs to be rebranded.

     

    Being honest, they need to release the engine upgrade, along with a bit of content, and then rebrand and relaunch the game, that will get feet in the door, which is what we want.
