Sadly it's not just APB problem, it's problem of all multiplayer games where PvP stands. Just entitled generation rose up where they need to win, no matter how. Ruthless upbringing brings ruthless generation - APB lore is perfect example of that.
Problem with series like Battlefield vs APB is basically that Battlefield has enough of normal player population to cover cheaters and throw them on sidelines while APB cheaters are such big percentage of population that pretty much every game is affected by them.
That obviously got negative effect on current and future population. Hell, even I was thinking of coming back to APB but taking combination of bad matchmaking, lack of any LO oversight and cheating problem... I just dropped it. Too bad it wasn't like that when there was OBT, would at least be game dead on arrival and we wouldn't had this problem.
Yet again, as said hundred of times by me - this is both fault of LO (lack of enforcement, lack of oversight and overall "sitting back" attitude) and "loving this game" playerbase which "loves this game so much" that they have to stomp everyone playing it to ground, forgetting that anyone else also plays and nothing will replace them in the end. Enjoy your spoils, they are useless outside APB which inevitably will shut down. And you will have your uh... "gameplays" videos and such which gonna be questioned (rightfully so) for rest of time. And no, you can't legitmaize snapping from player to player while fighting them.
Now they also throw some big unknown brazilian, digging in kernel anti-cheat to that and I slowly myself consider of not only uninstalling but deleting my GamersFirst account entirely. All of them. And just leaving. Contrary to what LO believes - I do have games to play, a lot of them. And you guys simply not competitve in any aspect by now. Even customization.
The only thing that held APB up and running, where i spent a lot of actual money on was the customisation of your character... No other game has ever come close to the detail of customisation that APB has, i've spent over 10 years in this game playing it at my own pace... I was never a actual good player though which is fine, i dont have to be good at everything after all... But the amount of cheating that will never be fixed has resulted me in dropping the game altogether... The new anti cheat simply doesn't work while being invasive, i could let it slide that the anti cheat is invasive if it would actually work but no.. So i don't see the point either in having invasive anti cheat on my pc if it doesn't do it's job... The last time that i touched the game was september 5th and i have no intention of going back unless they ditch this anti cheat for one that actually does work..
10 years and a few thousand euros down the drain like it's nothing, which is sad but fine... As i'm not going to bother anymore, i'm tired of having to deal with 10 years of incompetence/cluelessness (No matter which company) regarding actually fixing this game.. And like i said, i would ONLY play again if the anti cheat were to actually work... It's the least thing you would expect from some anti cheat that operates on a kernel level... But considering this will never happen, me playing again will also not happen..

Exactly, the only reason when you're going to get hacked is when you straight up give the hackers your information such as your logins... Clicking on random links for example that turn out to be phising links tend to cause such as thing, or how you can get your login information stolen through having your internet cookies getting breached... Which also tends to happen when you click on weird/shady links on the internet... People are having their facebook/YouTube accounts getting stolen due to the exact same reason, by clicking on some weird link that turned out to be a phising link.. Take Facebook for example, it is filled to the brim with bot accounts/stolen accounts spamming their telegram link everywhere.. If one were to click on that very same link, well.. Congrats then, you've exactly given them what they were after, your private information such as your login passwords....
Same shit goes for creditcards, nobody can randomly hack into it unless YOU are the one who gave them the keys of the front door to begin with... Especially if you don't have extra layers of security in the forms of 2FA authentication for example, or by having a actual strong password instead of "abcdefg012"...
If people were to pay more attention to the stuff that their/they're clicking on on the internet, a lot less of these situations were to happen.. But no, here we are still having these problems because people simply aren't paying enough attention... If people actually did, these things were less common...

Acting like a literal manchild, throwing a massive temper tantrum and overal being extremely toxic towards others, good thing that you can't play anymore.. I can't even comprehend how you would be ingame if you're acting like this on the forums... Wouldn't really wish anyone to get matched up with you or against you either, aside from cheaters (Just to see you having a meltdown like you have on here) obviously.

I would like to bring up another question regarding SARD...
Is the data that SARD gathers being sent to little orbit first or the armenian company? Does SARD only give pc access through its kernel level backdoor to little orbit or the company behind SARD as well?

Well, i was in the twitch stream (A bit too late as i have to take care of 4 dogs here while my parents are on vaction, while also going to the supermarket to get food and such) but i did ask about whenever the anti cheat was to stay on my pc if i were to uninstall the game or not.. My question sadly didn't get through, so i'm hoping to for another ama anytime soon or something else... As i still want a clear answer on it.

But we can't have that now do we, no.. We rather have some kernel level anti cheat that does absolutely nothing, the only thing that it does is giving away access to your pc through a backdoor that will harm your system if abused by bad actors....
As long as devs aren't pulling their heads out of their patootie and actually start banning people, this game will never actually recover... Yes the game did gain a increase in players according to steam charts, but those numbers will dip again sooner than later.. Give it a few weeks to a month and that playercount is back again to what it has been for years by now...
I've uninstalled anyway and will probably not come back unless they ditched SARD and get ingame moderators who ACTUALLY ban cheaters... But seeing as how that isn't going to happen, i will probably just call it quits and retire like i've said i would.. It's been a good run, but after 10 years i just can't anymore... I'll take all the money and years that i've spend on this game as my own L..

To me it's more like i don't know enough about this anti cheat to "trust" it on my device.. I've never heard of this SARD anti cheat before, i don't know any of the games they have on their website except silkroad... Why should i give people behind the anti cheat access to my entire pc just to play APB? Especially when the anti cheat already seems breached and people still out there cheating/hacking their nuts off according to what others have said in various different places.. But if were to update my game right now to this SARD anti cheat, can the company behind it or someone else guarantee me that the anti cheat will also be completely removed if i were to uninstall APB?? Instead of it still being around when APB isn't on my device..
Maybe that i'm just making up stuff for nothing, idk.. But i just want to know more other than what their website states (Which is also what the devs posted on the forums here).. I've asked in several places but still have no definitive answer to any of it... And sure, maybe i am a hypocrite since i have gameguard on my pc as that's also kernel and considered to be shady, but still.. And as bad as EAC was (Considering using a free version for APB doesn't really work), at least i'm more aware about it and what it does/do..

I just want to know, is the SARD anti cheat completely removed if i were to uninstall APB?? I have yet to update the game as my folders still have EAC in them, but idk.. Currently i just have mixed feelings considering the anti cheat already seems bypassed while giving access to my pc if i were to update it... Idk how i feel about another kernel anti cheat being on my pc when it probably doesn't really work for the game it's attached to..
I don't want this kernel level anti cheat to linger around when APB isn't installed... I have 1 other game currently that uses gameguard, but atleast that's removed if i were to uninstall that game... I want to jump in and try the new stuff but like i said, i'm just split right now... Because as much as want to jump back into, i just dont see myself getting another kernel level anti cheat on my pc if the anti cheat doesn't properly work while it gives access to my pc to the people behind that anti cheat... Does someone here have experience with any of this?

How so? I stopped using it ever since it felt off.. Especially if you count the amount of stutters that i have on a high end pc (high end enough to run the game even tho my pc is more of mid tier.. But still way more than enough to run it properly). It does little to no damage even when it shoots really fast. I had more success with other shotguns such as colby/JG. I don't ask for it to be broken or something, just a small update or perhaps a slight tweak here or there. It was just a small suggestion after all.. If players don't want that than fine..

Can we get a buff on true ogre? Currently it feels just underwhelming, losing fights at close range from any colby shotgun or even jg ones.

I couldn't find anything that stated that these changes were going to be made... Either i indeed haven't seen it being mentioned anywhere or i'm completely blind.. Idk..

This is what i've been wearing ever since for years.... Went into wardrobe booth today for this and apparently, my katana removes pretty much all my impact and heavygunner stuff for no apparent reason.. Maybe it's from a update i'm unaware about this idk.. But not being able to equip my katana with my impact set completely destroys the immersion of my outfit... Pls change that back since i'm beyond pissed off now..

Something i've always would love to see is that the limitations on customization was removed.. Get rid of the maximum 'space' that a symbol takes up and get rid of the maximum amount of layers that you can add to for example cars..
The customization system is what always brought me back throughout the years, but even then... The maximum amount of layers and maximum amount of space that symbols take up is just a huge handicap... A option to also put symbols on wheels or on the inside of your car would be nice.

Just do what i did and simply stop playing the game, it isn't worth the headache to expect this game to ever have a anti-cheat that ACTUALLY works... The game was much better back in the day when fairfight was still around..
You're much better off playing something else instead of banging your head against a wall..
