    Rather have 130ms to Citadel where I only have ping lag compared to getting 90ms on Jericho, when I should get 50ms, and then having routing issues ontop of that, then ddos issues, then the servers also being shit.

    Only thing wrong with Carbine is that IR3 no longer works on it, making it not as good vs ntec and other rifleman guns meaning that the only thing it's '''great''' against is Pointman. Which all pointman guns are practically broke to fuck right now. That means the Carbine is practically useless.

    Infact, it's that way with almost all Marksman guns.
    Obeya can't beat HVR as well because no IR3, loses to ir3 ntec. Garbage.
    OBIR is ok I guess but why use OBIR when you can just have a Fang and then a broken patootie shotgun.
    OSCAR is same situation as Carbine except it's a little better because it can hit a little further easier. Normally Carbine > OSCAR but Carbine takes a bigger hit from this ir3 nerf

    IR3 change was a good way to ruin a whole class of guns in one fell swoop and not affect the one gun they wanted to nerf

    You're not being autistic, that's for sure. You're looking at the patch as a whole like people should.

    I just wish people would actually take a second and look at the complete effects of a patch. Looking at one gun, seeing it got changed, and going 'yes ! this is awesome' no matter if it gets buffed or nerfed anyway is awful. There's a lot more to what happened to the game than the Ntec. A lot of guns got changed, and certain guns being changed effects other guns as well. OBIR and Obeya being nerfed means HVR is that much more usefull because it has less competition. Looking at things like these is important because it really helps get a full understand of why things are good or bad.

    Hence why I said what I said. A lot of the initial replies from people to your original post was just that, awful.

    That's the issue though, if it's not final why did they push it to the live server with LESS than a WEEK of testing.

    If it's not final don't make it final. Pushing it to live IS final, and if it's this shit then what in the world are they doing at LO.

    All the good players ive talked to say the mod change is shit, and that LO should have listened cuz they even said it was shit on OTW.
    Infact, they said everyone playing OTW also thought it was shit.

    Is it just a cool hip thing to say the patch is great for no reason?
    Only good thing about it so far is HVR was sort of nerfed lmfao

    ir3 ntec is still really good. All the guns that were broke from the patch are guns that were completely balanced, aka the Marksman guns.

    It's so sad to see people still act like this. Remember the sprint shooting change? It went like this.

    Which btw that patch went the same way as this one did, it didn't help the gameplay at all and Carbine was still balanced and '''just as op'''. I loved hoping on right after that patch and destroying people with Carbine just like pre-patch and watching people rage.

    It's gonna go the same way with this one, prepare to rage silvers who hate Ntec, while also not realizing the damage done to balanced weapons.

    I'm down. A lot of the changes from then have been incredibly unreasonable nerfs, were as things should have been balanced by buffs as well as nerfs. I've always hated how G1 never really buffed anything and just nerfed whatever was meta. It led to, well, this idea we have were everything will be fixed if we just 'nerf this one things into the ground'.

Obeya and OBIR were nerfed due to IR3 being nerfed which means HVRs only real competition now is Dogear. Awesome, you might as well say it's even better than it was before now.
    ATAC, yeah it got nerfed in this situation, sort of. It's not as good since no IR3 but still strong anyway.

    The guns severly effected by this change are guns that were quite balanced before, AKA the whole Marksman class of guns. OBIR, Oscar, Carbine and Obeya all got nerfed, some more than others, due to IR3 change. With no real change to guns that these guns would normally combat (Ntec, Atac, OCA, HVR, PMG, etc etc). These guns are just worse now, and have become unbalanced in a sense. OBIR and Obeya no longer easily beat the now 3rd most broken gun, HVR. Carbine no longer can deal with ntec at ntec ranges easily, which means ntec has no real competition, especially since Oscar also can't deal as well. With the shotgun buff Carbine is now WAY WAY WAY worse against shotguns, and is practically useless.

    I could go way way more with this post, and make a page long explanation of this, but ive already done that on APB discord and on my Stream and even though that means you can't see it anymore really, im too lazy to redo it all. So you'll just have to deal with this compact thing.

    TL;DR IR3 change ruined guns that were balanced, and didnt change guns that were """""broken""""", resulting in an unbalance. HVR change didnt do that much, so it was a kinda good change but not really that great. Shotguns are stronger than they need to be making Ogre insane. etc etc etc. I could look past the other changes if they just revert IR3, because the IR3 change is the biggest joke ive seen in 3 years.


    EDIT: I guess I didnt really leave a good solution that makes most people happy, so here it is. Mods are pretty balanced in this game, as mods are slight changes to guns that the guns have been almost built around dealing with. Mods however, are not built around guns. This leads to issues when you mess with mod stats, as you're messing with a TON of guns that all change differently. That's bad. It's much better to change guns than it is to change mods, as you're only affecting that one gun and balancing that one gun, rather than '''balancing''' one gun and fucking over a bunch of guns.

    It's not being scared about changes in general, it's being scared about what changes some of the idiots on this forum/game want.

    The issue is 90% of people talking about changes that should be done have 0 idea what they're talking about. Like, literally no clue. What scares me is that LO might listen to idiots babbling on the forums about random changes they want to see for 0 reason on things that don't need change, while certain things do. IR3 for example, is a thing that DOESNT need to be changed. There was a forum post on 3ps3 being changed so it had a negative effect, again, 0 reason for that, and LO might read that post, see a lot of players talking about different changes that are bad, and might do one of them. LO doesn't know any better, and it's not really their fault if they listen to players. Whos fault it is, is the players themselves who should understand they don't have enough game knowledge let alone are not even good enough at the game to come up with good changes on core mechanics.

    I just don't want to see the game I enjoy get ruined because some idiot complained about something they don't have any understanding about.

    Literally this thread is just people saying 'why would you do that' or 'hey every other mod has a negative effect so lets have LO make 3ps3 useless by adding a negative'

    People barely use 3ps3 after 195 rn, besides for shaw/hvr. Add a negative effect to the mod and you're looking at a grand total of 0 people using it. 3ps3 isnt even the 'best option' out of all the purples just because it has no negative effect. In my eyes its the least best option for 80% of guns.

    I really don't understand what goes through peoples brains on the forums these days.

    Why?

    Purple mods in my eyes are usually supposed to just be straight 'upgrades' in a very small form.

    Tagger allows you to more easily see enemies, and show whos tagged (but not how much they are tagged, which is why tagger doesn't really buff much, its just there to be there)
    Mobility Sling allows you to more quickly moved aimed in, but increases equip time. All guns that would use this mod effectively don't need to be switched to quickly, which means the downgrade doesn't really matter, making mobility sling a straight 'upgrade'. You could argue ntec or atac, but usually ntecs with mobi sling are using ir3/hs3 making it more long range similar to obeya in which case it doesn't matter.
    3ps3 just increases equip time. There are very few cases in which this is actually beneficial, and mainly is just a increase in gameplay speed. Only reason this can be seen as TOO much of an upgrade is because of QSing.

    Infact, I never ever use 3ps3 on anything besides Pointman and HVR/Shaw. HVR and Shaw are the only two weapons in which 3ps3 even matters (besides ALIG and other heavy weaponry, but I dont use those). I just use 3ps3 on Pointman guns because tagger and mobi sling are even more useless than 3ps3 on them. I barely even use those weapons anyway, so I maybe use 3ps3 once a week, if that. Tagger and Mobi Sling on the other hand I use 99% of the time.

    Why nerf something that isn't broke. And yes adding a negative side effect is nerfing, so don't even bother arguing against that.

    normally i do exclusive symbols, but for some reason my friends always offer me stuff first before i tell them a price so i just get like legendaries or expensive themes so i take a few hours of my day and boom 2-5mil

    that or just make dumb anime symbols and dupe them a bunch and boom ez money.

    Since you asked by which context he is using that image in:

    hes using it in context to answer your question as to why people kill your stuns, then kill you.

    I agree with his point, and the point of many others. Looking at your character as a whole, and how you post on the forums, it's a big yikes from me and I'm surprised you don't get more flak than you actually do.
