  1. I admire myself because its the only way i can keep going at times but trust me on this one, its far from excessive and i feel bad for anyone who have an interest in me, myself included I made sound arguments for weapon drops and explained why i like it, you literally have not made any arguments against weapon drops other than that you dont want others to pick up your hard earned weapons. If you dont want assumptions of yourself then make sure you dont perfectly fit said assumption and then continue make sure you fit said assumption, thats how assumptions are made. I know exactly how the concept of the loadouts for strategic gameplay and tactics works and what droppable weapons would change with it which is why im for it but looks like youre a master on that subject, would you care to explain exactly why droppable weapons are not okay with current state of APB? Matt stated that it was an unintended change for action/FC districts and then asked the community if it should stay for FC and im putting my arguments out here as to why i think it should stay in action districts aswell. You want the opposite but so far havent really elaborated much on why on top of being entirely unreasonable. And im the narrow minded one lmao Merged. I done this once too and i had the time of my LIFE owning that noob after he could not beat my any other way than with an OCA in cqb, its not an issue, its a solution
  2. Had to re-read through your posts in this topic and it 100% sounds like youre actually entitled so im going to go with the assumption that you are because your posts sure as hell are trying really hard to look like you are. I got a R255 enfo and a R195 crim, Ursus and two leg nanos along tons of arma weapons so can safly say i put in the time and effort to "bust my balls" to this level. Im against getting speenfed shit on a silver platter too, in all games. Being able to pick up weapons from dead players in this game is nowhere near getting spoonfed so i got no idea why you even bring that up. I highly recommend re-reading my posts and the whole thread and think outside your own opinion as it looks like you think players permanently unlock the guns they loot by the sound of it. Its nice of you to tell me im not on topic while im explaining why im defending the droppable guns by bringing up reasons why but i guess we should just leave it to "Yes/No" without bringing any feedback as to why you picked either. I get it though, you only have one argument as to why droppable weapons shouldent be a thing and its too hard to think for more reasons why it shouldent be a thing, dont worry it happens when somone else just have that much more logic behind their arguments thats diffrent to your opinion. I dont get angry when others disagree with my opinion, i rethink my own opinion taking others into consideration and see if my own changes or evolves. I stay strong to my opinion because yours isnt very constructive and does not bring up many logical points as to why you think this way more than "I DONT LIKE THIS REEEEEE" so feel free to explain more as to why you think the way do. And lmao getting things spoonfed to your is like getting free perma weapons and/or legendary weapons along with mods, cars and shit right? Cant wait to go in to a district and perma unlock New Glory from some random player lmao.
  3. Again, your argument is irrelevant because theres no matchmaking. We get it, you are max rank, you like killing noobs and type "gg ez" in district after the match and the idea of them looting your gun and killing you with it is making people suggest you take anger managment sessions. See i can type text without really thinking too. Now for some actual constructive response. Im all for the you have to work to get rewarded for it but looting a simple gun of a high ranking player in a match is not what you described at all. This is present in almost any other game. We all started from the bottom and had our fair struggles against max ranks and other high skilled players and imo the matchmaking how i remember it when i was a noob was horrible. Unless you got an ironwill willpower then youre most likely resorting to just quitting the game, use exploits or dethreating to get easier opponets or just outright load cheats instead as seen far too many times. You make it sound like anyone looting your gun is permamently unlocking it, you still have the advantage of spawning with it. Its also important to take note that once you loot somones gun your own gun drops on the ground so you will have to re-loot your gun if you want to switch back to it unless you use an ammo box, this makes anyone able to loot your gun aswell. I had times where i looted a cqb weapon and then got shot at from behind by a player carrying my dropped gun. New players that sadly get matched against max rank players can atleast try out guns they wont be laying hands on for a damn while if they manage to kill said high rank. As been said by other users in this thread it adds more flavour to the almost completely static gameplay and if your gun is the only reason youre winning then i feel sorry for you.
  4. Because matching a 255 player who busted his balls to get gear with advantages against low~mid level and even new players is justified right? If you wnat your opinion to have any credability at all then we are gona need a propper matchmaking first, i really dont see this as a valid argument against droppable weapons at all.
  5. I never had an issue with client fps, played on 120 solid at all times apart from massive amounts of car explosions or rare times getting hit by 5+ grenade impacts at same time (rip my sorry soul) but i can see it being an issue, could tweak the weapon drops to only lay on the ground for 30 seconds or something in action/fc districts. Overall its a fun feature imo. Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what youre gona get. Alright you can look what chocolate you can take, you get what i mean. Outside of a competative view its fine with the chaos, as i stated previsouly, competative play in this game is OMEGALUL at best. Once the game gets more players (lul) they might wanna look into adding more servers and specific servers for actuall competative play. I understand what you mean though, i very often open scoreboard at the start of missions to check opponets guns (action mission district atleast) but i do not switch guns to counter their loadout. I like the idea of looting some shotty players shotgun in cqb if i manage to beat him with say an ursus and use the dropped shotgun to deal with other enemies cqb. I, again, could name other games where you cant switch loadout while still alive and where you in same games can pick up other dead enemy players guns. Theres a lot of freedom in APB on that front and now theres even more.
  6. Yesterdays where one of the most fun time i had in action districts. I absolutely love the weapon drops, when you go from objective to objective and your opponet switches from one weapon to another after every single step it gets quite annoying. can safly say that picking up some players vulcano/osmaw and wreck them when you get the "Capture and hold blue big truck" objective is absolutely 10/10. I tried weapons i never really bothered to use much before and it feels nice being able to pick up a fast OCA dropped by somone you managed to kill with an ntec in close quarters and engage his teamates with, adds more flavour to the fight. I do not play this game deadass competative because theres no reason to play it deadass competative so i can not really relate to players saying this breaks balance with how APB works. The ability to switch your loadout on the go with both ammo box (that you can lower cooldown with by buying premium...) and the consumable boxes id argue that this is irrelevant, this also have players with lower amounts of weapons in their inventory at a dissadvantage by default and even more so against veteran players with loads of stacked consumable ammo boxes and weapons. What gameplay? I need context because knowing APB and its community in its whole this could mean multiply things. We have the "elitist" players who will complain that their hard worked weapons they have can be picked up by other players, remember that that these "elitist" players spawn with these weapons and use them all the time, the players picking them up do not. Can argue that your weapon shouldent be the reason you can beat other players in the first place. We got the toxic side of the community that will use this as a new way to harras other players "haha, killed you with your own gun noob" etc, they exist and will always exist, cant really say much here since the solution is extremely simple, ignore/block them. We got the players who wants balance and in the dropable weapons defence id say theres more balance now, if you equip a grenade launcher or a vulcano to cheese an objective then now you will have to plan even harder to prevent your enemies to get a hold of your equipment, isnt that strategic right? Not everyone can (some dont want to) switch weapon between every single objective. I could name a list of other games where you can pick up your opponets hard earned guns but the list would be too long but this is APB, theres no game like it right :^) All in all it saddens me to see this is being removed from action districts so least i can do is ask for it to stay, as i said i had more fun than i had for a while. I started playing this game somewhere around 2013 and played on and off during the years, i cant say i have close to the playtime of other players who sticked around from 2013. I have not bothered with the forum either, think i have one post thats not even worth mentioning but this topic has brought me here so bear with me.
