  1. Not sure why that would have any relevance to this conversation at all. So in short, no. If you, by some chance are a LO employee or moderator, you can see my ticket # that I just submitted via support for not having premium on my Xbox one account as of yet. I also submitted the ticket # publicly in the same thread where the CEO posted 2 hours ago about all premium being sent out. So again, if you are an employee, you could likely see my statistics based on that ticket. My assumption is that you are not though due to the fact that it just says, "Members" below your name.
  2. In the instance that you quoted, I let my frustrations get the better of me without explanation. For that I am sorry. Let me clarify a little more. I have been playing this game on XB1 since it launched on the console, 2 or 3 years ago. I have the title "Xbox One Founder," that I can use if I wanted. I have played pretty off and on, but still quite a bit. I have paid for premium, various guns, vehicles, etc... Last month I was premium when the whole game, across all platforms was having problems. As I said, I logged in, or attempted to log in, every day with the same characters I have had since it came to console. Today included without the two weeks additional premium. (as of 2:10 EST) I made my first avatar on PC ever, on 5/9/2019, (The day before free premium was released) and by 7:30 PM on 5/10, just 30 minutes after Matt said that it started rolling out based on log in time, I had premium on my PC account. Before you ask, yes, when he announced free premium starting on 5/10, I figured I would try PC as well. This is where some of my frustration as a console gamer comes from. To be loyal for years on console and know that someone who is less than 24 hours old on PC gets what was promised to the community is frustrating. But, allow me to NOT go that route. I wanted to post that explanation and I did. The real issue I have is that as a company, and a business, if LO an its CEO promise something it is irresponsible of them to wait until DAYS after making said promises to even mention how/when it is happening. Now, I know premium is now out to all users. For that I am happy and glad that they made an effort for some compensation. Again, to go back to what really should happen, is that the game should work. When it doesn't, console users shouldn't have to wait for days for an explanation, outreach or otherwise. They deserve the same respect as the entire community. I see there are posts from 14 hours ago from Matt and other team members regarding Xbox status. 5/10, not to mention all the problems from the two weeks prior, is a bit further back than that. An old saying in business is "Under promise and Over Deliver." As for myself, (and likely many other Xbox 1 users,) LO has consistently done just the opposite.
  3. I am not here to talk about, nor do I care about folks who are attacking IP addresses. I do not know the specifics of folks reporting or tickets or otherwise. I don't assume anything. I know that the game did not work. LO said nothing. Myself and others have reported problems constantly with little to no response from LO helping to explain said problems. We are ignored as a community (Xb1,) and that is the issue. Not which kids are downloading which apps to cause "Packet Loss." Should LO do "Jack" for our community? Yes, absolutely, because they are the owner of the product. They are the ones that take our money for the product and thus, Little Orbit are the ones that should deliver said product. The players are not the developers. We are players. Some of us, paying players. It is not, and should never be our responsibility to be sure the product is delivered and works as promised. Merged. Want to make it even more appealing? Matt said all players would get premium on 5/10. Of course, most XB1 players couldn't log in to get it. Those that could, DID NOT get it. Then the CEO, Matt, said "There are a lot of players to gift, so we're doing this in waves. To start we will hit everyone who has logged in within the last 30 days sorted by most recent login first. Then we'll go back 30 days, etc." Speaking again for myself, I surely logged in, or attempted to log in, every day for the prior 30 days up to 5/10. As of today, at 2:10 EST, 5/13, though the game finally seems to work again on XB1, I have not received my free 2 weeks of premium. I can't be certain, as I only have other's word, but It seems several others who meet the promised criteria have not either. Received their free premium that is. In truth, I don't care about free stuff. I can pay for it (though many others on console may.) I care about the lack of outreach, support and blatant disregard of an entire community's cries for help with this game. Again, a game many of us have spent money on. Really, I just want the simplest thing. That is, for this game to work, just like every other game on Xbox One and for LO to keep their promises to ALL their community members.
  4. Sure thing, Strictly speaking, I do not have, nor play on a PS4, so I am speaking about my knowledge from PC to XB1. We have no day/night cycle. Only Day. No ability to create death themes. Much less in the way of actual marketplace content. We have no "ranking" system. Meaning no bronze, gold or silver difference, nor the ability to select between those servers. Our badges in the UI change from bronze to silver as our notoriety goes up, but it has no bearing on mechanics or matchmaking and no 'colored' districts. Meaning no bronze, silver or gold districts. Even if there were, there is no advanced ability to choose between them as PC has. As you said, no music kiosk or ability to import music of our own. These are a few. I may have missed some, but besides all of those, we have very little to none, (mostly none) support or response to our support tickets and any proactive outreach to (at least) XB1 users on when or if problems will be addressed. When it does happen it is rare. Before anyone asks why I don't just play PC. It is because I would prefer to play on my couch with a controller looking at my big TV with a surround sound system rather then hunched over a desk with mouse and keyboard. I do that at work all day.
  5. Sorry, I misunderstood your question. I mistook the initial question for you attacking my statements. As far as dry numbers go, that I have no idea. I am sure they are low. During peak times, if I had to guess, there is max of 200 players in game. 100 in social and the others spread out through action. Of those 200 at peak times, likely only 75 are premium and only about 100 have spent money at all. NOTE: These numbers are ALL speculative. If you quote me, I'd appreciate that you quote that as well. In reality though, regardless of what is profitable, IF Little Orbit is taking money from any players on any platform, those players deserve the same experience. To say that even though console isn't as profitable as PC, so the players that spend money through console don't matter, is completely unethical and amoral.
  6. What does the population have to do with the fact that the game didn't work for XB1 players this weekend? What does the population have to do with the fact that some folks in that population, (no matter how small) have, in the past, and will likely in the future spend money on a game that continues not to work? Sure, we shouldn't spend it. At all, but we have, and we do, therefore, we deserve to be treated the same way any paying customer, regardless of the platform is. I also have a PC account, and believe me the population there is NOT THAT much larger than the console's. You would think every dollar that LO takes from ANY of its players would be important to them.
  7. https://ibb.co/DVZFddw That is a link to look at a screen cap of a Twitter post made by a frustrated player about Xbox not working on May 11th. Also replied to on May 11th by APB reloaded. That was Saturday. This is one of MANY upset and frustrated posts by Xbox players over the weekend on the twitter feed in which the PC RIOT mode was addressed. So, based on that shot alone, (Don't worry, if the link expires I can find another way to post it) SOMEONE on your team knew. One of two things is happening based on that. Either we, as Xbox players have just been lied to by the CEO, which is, as I said before unethical and shameful. Or the person who runs their Twitter feed has no way to contact anyone of importance at Little Orbit to let them know the numerous complaints from Xbox players. If this is the case, then that is one of the most awful business practices I could imagine. That would fall under being irresponsible and, again, shameful. Plenty of Xbox players spend money on your game. Not as much as your PC players over the years I am sure. The PC version already has a ton more content so we (XB1) players already don't get the same experience. Please, at the very least, try to use some business integrity with us.
  8. I am unsure what the first part of this means? Are you saying that because little orbit loved player's gamer tags, the issues got resolved? Or are you saying players get other player's IP's and boot them offline? Because in this case, it was a blanket problem. Players were able to log into the game, select their characters, but were all disconnecting during district connect. This was happening with almost everyone and only Waterfront was open periodically. This has nothing to do with folks trying to claim they have IP's. It was happening to everyone. As for the second part, I can assure you I have sent MANY support tickets. Some going as far back as seven months ago. Only automated answers with no resolution was ever offered. I can only speak for myself with certainty, but I know that I hear from other players on Xbox about tickets they send never being answered. The player in the other forum even expressed concerns over the Xbox community being the most ignored. So, in hoping to help my community, and the fact that we get no help from our support tickets, no notification on Xbox, no info about Xbox on APB's twitter feed, I am posting here.
  9. This is a response to a request from a player 18 hours ago. This problem has been persisting since at least early in the morning May 10th. No other announcements or efforts to proactively reach out to the Xbox community have been/were made in that particular forum. My statement stands, Unethical and shameful. Merged. I would like to add, that there is no link to this forum anywhere on the Xbox dashboard, and as I mentioned in an earlier post, finding anything at all on the status of APB on console is no easy task. This should be evidenced by the fact that prior to that particular post, the most recent post was made back on May 3rd when the initial problems started.
  10. So it is now Sunday at 4PM and still no word from Little Orbit about when APB on Xbox One will be up and running again, let alone when (or if) any players will receive their two weeks free premium. Xbox players have only been able to log in briefly to WF district at sporadic times throughout the weekend. Again, no word from LO or Matt Scott about this issue. This is irresponsible, unfair, unethical and frankly, unacceptable. Yes, it is a free game, however many people have spent money on it. For premium, weapons with time stamps, not to mention the joker ticket weapons which have timed out now certainly. All of this doesn't matter though. What matters is that WE DESERVE AN ANSWER. Not to be ignored, shirked, lied to while others get to play. While we watch as APB makes announcements on their twitter feed about the RIOT testing for PC. If someone can make that announcement, then someone can surely say something addressing the XB1 issues. Even if it is to say, "We can't fix it. Sorry." This rejection of responsibility to some of your community, no matter how small a part, is shameful.
  11. I don't like to look a gift horse in the mouth and the fact that you are saying you are giving free premium to all players is great. There were a lot of people waiting for it when yesterday came around. No announcement was made until AFTER 4PM Pacific that the premium was only STARTING to roll out. It is free and by itself is fine, but once you said players would get it, then how AND when it would happen should have been much more of a priority than it seemed you decided it should be. Also, I am a console (XB1) player. I have not seen any premium as of yet, or seen any announcements regarding the fact that the servers are, and have been down for almost 24 hours now. Nothing talking about it even as an issue, or that it is being worked on. The only thing I see, is regarding the testing of the RIOT stuff on the PC. As a console gamer, I have spent money on the game as well and feel that our community, though maybe not as strong or numerous as the PC version, deserves, at the very least, to know if you are abandoning us while these tests happen or if there is something else going on. Merged. To add: I sincerely apologize if there IS someplace where the current XB1 issues are addressed and I missed it. That said, I will say without a doubt, if there is somewhere addressing it for consoles, it is NOT easy to find.
