ElectroStingz 52 Posted June 1, 2018 (edited) In Windows 7 if your Update service has been altered or is not working it can cause issues for the VCC installation. For example some non genuine windows 7 installs prevent the update service from working. Does your Windows update work? A while back there was an issue with the windows update service, taking ages. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3172605/july-2016-update-rollup-for-windows-7-sp1-and-windows-server-2008-r2-s Try this https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53335 If in doubt the best option is to perform a clean install using a genuine DVD and product key. Another solution would be to download it from steam (there does not ask me to install the microsoft visual studio 2012 c ++ redistributable) but ... The Game uses a lot of RAM, your 2GB is the problem. 8GB would be minimum recommended but you need to have a 64bit OS. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
