Crash Error (havent seen a fix for this) [uncommon?]

Recommended Posts

Now I know the game is old as dirt, but I truly enjoy this game (im also aware of possible engine updates coming to fix RTX graphics card crashes but this isn't an error I've seen before

Every so often I freeze/crash mid gameplay or most commonly when loading into waterfront.

Lowered my graphics normally through game settings although I shouldn't need to bc of my specs (list below)

I've also tried Low graphic config packs to the point my game looks like everything is made of clay.

I get constant 145 FPS even on max graphics.

I forgot the previous crash errors I was getting but this one completely closed my game and wasn't a freeze like the others

When the game completely closed it surprised me, here is the error I received

"

Direct3DDevice->CreateVertexBuffer(Size,Usage,0,Pool,(IDirect3DVertexBuffer9**)VertexBuffer.GetInitReference(),NULL) failed
 at Src\D3D9VertexBuffer.cpp:26
 with error 887A0005

"

Cannot seem to find this ANYWHERE online and feel like it could be something else causing it?
Here is my specs

CPU: i7-11700F @2.50GHz

GPU: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 Ti

RAM: Not sure what brand specifically but 16gb

These are the main specs, if anyone things its ssd or hdd related ill list that as well

 Little notes:

I never crash in Asylum fight club

I never crash in Social District

I rarely crash in Financial District

I crash in Waterfront district mainly respawning or choosing a spawn location

(some crashes do randomly occur in financial and waterfront while just driving/walking around)

If anyone could give me some tips on these crashes I would appreciate it.
