Talking about your points i should say that:

1) Matt stated alredy during one or both of the Q&A he wanted to bring back the old login menu maybe also with the original soundtrack, we just need to wait and hope that can be done through, because of course the license for that one could be expired or need to be redone.

In add they also compared many points with new APB 2 vs APB 1.20 (actual Live version) and the loading times are amazing, from my point of view at least.

 

2) This is a bit more complicated system to talk about and i am really curious to see where Little orbit want to go with it.

I don't have any ideas yet but i do liked a lot also the old one, it wasn't perfect of course, but for me it was at least a bit better than the one we have now.

But i do agree mostly with your points and im waiting to see what are their moves and how they are going to make this game finally better than the "standard" state which is into right now.
