i'd rather play against cheaters every once in a while than to have my windows install copilot and bombard me with win11 ads and update itself whether i like it or not and then deal with troubleshooting for hours or even days when they pull an oopsie before i get to work again. knowing this is the alternative i'll just quit the game altogether, and i can't be the only one.
having to update windows just so the anticheat works is also a first for me in 20+ years of online gaming, there has to be another way.
