    I have no idea what system the bronze/silver/gold uses but if its 0-33% 34-66% 67-99% win rate then someone at the top of gold vs bottom gold is a huge gap.

    There is a reason games use 10-15 "ranks" or a elo between 1-1000 for matchmaking

    Every other game that you don't have a problem with matchmaking in uses a similar system to what APB does. Most games do. Almost every game uses some kind of elo or skill rating system and in the case of APB it is called Glicko. The 'elo' rating is working fine. It is just that the system only has like 10 people to choose from to match you against. So it is the district/population that is not working.

     

    The colour rating is just a visual indicator of a broad range. Behind that colour is still some number like 788 or 1566 that the system uses. It uses your score as an indicator of whether to move you about after the match.

    It is used. Just the choices of pool to pick from in the matchmaking is so small that it can seem like it does not.

    4. APB is a third person game and revolves around that. It being a third person game is one of its strongest unique features, especially in a gaming landscape where FPS games are the norm.

    Pretty clearly this states that they are not allowed to me. I queried this again as I have seen many streamers using crosshair overlays and people suggesting it's allowable on the forums. This was the second response (Link removed ~@mayii) I had.

     

    I find this really f ing annoying to be honest, as I find the dot quite useful but clearly don't want to stray onto the side of running applications that support suggest 'might' get my account banned.

    You won't get banned for it as long as it does not hook in to the game in anyway. Going by their response using a voice program like discord or teamspeak isn't allowed either, it is just a silly blanket response they do.

    1. NTEC seems a little too good. Though I don't like ttk extensions, short ttk is one of the main apb attractions for me, so maybe just (even) less accuracy. At least make sure it isn't better than everything else.

    10. Animations: more (configurable) idle animations. Possibly make it possble to choose between different types of weapon reload anims

     

    I guess I could go on for ages. I've always felt that APB had oodles of untapped potential. I've been playing alot more since the 64-bit update and even now I still find the game impressive, the customizations system most of all. Sure, it could use some updates. to textures and 3D, maybe use some more polygons here and there. But, in basis the game, particularly the customization system still impresses me and I struggle to think of another game that allows such massive freedom through a relatively simple interface.

     

    Anyhoo, I hope apb has a bright future post 64 bit update.

    I'm gonna be pessimistic as fuck. But a quick glance over these give me a strong worry about degrading the chaotic social nature of APB and it gives me some instant flashbacks to how servers were also ruined in WoW. 

     

    The disabling of out of mission collisions, phasing of districts, hiding players in other missions, etc. Even the prior change to p5/n5 added to that too.

     

     

    The devs even mentioning PvE in this really is just the capstone to all the stuff over the years that LO has no idea what APB is the entire time they have had the game.

    I don't think you realise how much cheaters willingly spend on accounts. This just splits the player base, which is in exact contrast to your attempt to district phase and increase matchmaking population pool. Most premium people will just play in non-premium queues for the largest player base anyway, thus defeating the point of even introducing this.
     

    Please don't even try to bother with PBR. You'll just ruin the aesthetic of APB further.

    Get shot on point. Either die or be 'stunned' until hp gets back. Get in car. Drive over to where they are camping. They are either there or moved. Kill them or maybe die fighting them. Get back in car and drive back to point. By the time you get there they respawn. Repeat.

    HVR camping at render distance watching points is already a major issue. Letting it sit outside render distance just gives it even less counter play.

    I never said anything about how they are not cheating or cheating.

     

    Just want to see someone fire a gun faster than its fire rate that can't be done even with cheats.
