    alig is just as fast as grenades anyways and usually someone has that for a gun

    thank you for the compliments, sadly i dont think i made it into that GM program though i was really hoping. its cool though. i can still do my thing and hopefully whoever does become a GM can help make the game better for those who need it

    with a possible revival. if we see players come back and new players stay. dont you think the same thing will happen again?

     

    you have to fix the problem while you still can before people just quit again.

    excuse me? this is a huge problem. they can block drop offs. they can push objectives. they can do stuff like this here in the video. THIS is one of the game killing factors. people just troll all day.

     

    i suggest making anyone outside of your mission simply some thing you can phase through.

     

    is it a lot of work? yes.

    will it make the game better? yes.

  6. I plan on maybe creating an in depth begginers guide to APB from step 1. but for now this short post will do.

    I enjoy helping new and low rank / skill players learn more and such.

    I am more than happy to meet up and group up with any player who may need advice or help with the game in any way. im also there to help players get away from the starting vehicles and such with some small freebies.

  7. People usually like to think that you made your choice. stick with it. but things change. ideas change. thoughts and opinions change.

     

    when i made my female criminal, it was to have a dynamic. i didnt want to male characters that look the same so i tried doing a style thing but it didnt work.

     

    i had ranked up a bit and even bought some items for the char but i still cant seem to be happy with any design for the females. i would love to make a male and would not even mind starting over on a new character. problem is those paid items that are character only due to them being clothing and even vehicles. [why are vehicles not account? really.]


  8. I want to preface this with the obvious. i am NOT a game developer. i do NOT know what kinda of internal struggles happen with every decision.

     

    but as a player i can say my opinion, so here it is.

     

    1 - Change grenades from ammo style to cooldown style. this will prevent crazy grenade spam [especially when sitting on an ammo source] that in my opinion, dulls the gameplay.

     

    2 - Getting in and out of vehicles should be more consistent. [less popping in and out when there is not enough room for the animation to play out]

     

    3 - MAYBE a hidden cooldown to how fast you can crouch to avoid peak shooting HVRs? or make the animation slower? i dunno.

     

    THIS IS JUST A DISCUSSION. I AM NOT SAYING THESE CHANGES NEED TO HAPPEN IN THE GAME.

    Why play a game if you are max rank? is that all you play games for? to get the max level and then you quit? you should play because its fun. you enjoy the game. you LIKE playing it.

     

    i can agree that there needs to be more unlocks of some kinda for the hardcore without upsetting the casuals. I love setting goals for myself and working for the next thing in the game. but im just about out of things to go for.


  10. in the TDM and and obj hold missions. there should be an area of play. im tired of a team getting one kill to get in the lead and just getting in a car and running for 6 minutes. its extremely not fun and most of the time just makes me log off for the night.

    leaning does nothing. it doesnt make you harder to hit. it doesnt make you more accurate. its a show thing.

     

    and its almost as if everyone is forgetting the perfect aim hacks that are still rampant in this game

     


  12. Little Orbit has stated that they love events and that they do not like the idea of having the same stale events run around every year. they want events players can get excited about and the possibility of the these events being run by / involving the in game moderators is high.

     

    In short, yes. We can expect new events. my guess is that the events will be better than anything the previous owners ever gave us. [the great team kill event....]

     

     

     

    yes, team killing was an event at one time. or at least a mission with actual rewards worth doing.


  13. Camera tilt is a fancy camera affect that can affect a players judgment when driving. the stiffer camera may not be as fun to look at for some but it provides a more consistent and stable view. If this feature were to come back, i highly suggest they have it OFF by default. its fun to looks at, yes. but in a mission i would have it turned off every time.

     

    Simply put. you would not want to miss out on spotting an enemy just because you drifted a corner and the camera tilted in just the right way to keep them hidden.

    As for the whole concept of lowering the cooldowns in general, it just seems unnecessary to gate this behind premium.

    I agree with your wording more here. it is a silly thing to put behind a pay wall. but facts are a company needs to make money off a game. it is hard to find something worth the money to a player.

     

    I personally think there should be no pay wall behind the amount of symbols you can use for cars and character creation. a character is the players personality showing through. if a player can feel more attached to a char, they will be more likely to log back in to see their own custom character and creations. most players agree that the customization is one of the best around and a huge part of the game as a core. limiting free players to only have the most basic of symbols on their car forces them to never fall in love with their character and vehicles. they are just reminders that you cant do what you want  to do so badly, which is not a great feeling in a game.

     

    I would like to see more leniency for free players in this area. This could include a higher symbol cap and a few free kits to choose from as well as more free clothing options.

     

    right now only the basics are given to free players.

     

    At the end of the day. its a buisiness and they need to make money somewhere. We as the player can only hope that they find a good medium that we can agree on.

    Nitro in a car with premium is 1 minute. free players sit at 2 minutes. 

    Ammo does sit at 4 for free and 2 for premium, but i still think my main arguement stands. most players wont fir the criteria for the affect to matter. in order for it to make a difference the player must A - stay alive long enough to need the ability twice. B - use up enough ammo to need the skill 2 times within that time limit. and C - have no access to any team mate having any ammo drop. the consumable ammo drop, or a car mounted ammo station.

     

    facts are, its very hard to get a lot of use out of that skill for the average player who tends to die and respawn with full ammo before using up his reserves in the first place.

     

    on the ammo note, most players are not able to survive long enough to run out of ammo without any source of ammo showing up for them. I stand by my statement that this barely affect the game and there are much more important tasks at hand before considering this, while also holding to the idea that this could use a tweak. I simply do not think it impacts the game enough for a "pay to win" label.

     

    Pay to win in my eyes is something that impacts the game directly to the point of making it very hard to deal with for any player outside of the loop on these subjects.

  16. i actually have been on and off of premium many of times and still ended up forgetting this is even a thing. i dont think this changes the balance of the game enough to really worry about it

     

    though i can see how this is a direct upgrade and could have a "pay to win" [as much as i hate that term] label added to it. i dont think the minute off cooldown will ever blatantly win some one a game. so it should be put under the idea "pay for an ever so slight convenience"

     

    my logic behind this is that most fights on objectives tend to last longer than the cooldown of even a non premium player, combined with the fact that even the furthest away objective wont allow for 2 uses in one travel without massive interference along the way.
