I wanted to get back into the game, but for some reason the Steam version REFUSES to launch. The Initial Window for it pops up, asking me to agree to all the various disclaimers and EULA stuff, but when i click Launch Game at the very end of it, NOTHING happens. It just doesn't bother at all. Is there anyway to fix this?

For some reason normal game audio doesn't work. the Ambient noise is fine, as well as dialogue, notifications and whatnot, but for some reason both footsteps and attack sounds don't work at all. It should be noted i'm running this from Steam, but i've already validated the game files twice. All the audio bars are at max, but nothing's working. Send Help
