The forum backgrounds should move with you while scrolling.

edit: and also the forum boxes should be a little lighter maybe like a dark grey instead of black.

I disagree I think the forum boxes are a good color, especially since the default text color isn't a pure white.

I do agree, however, that there should be an option to allow the background to scroll, and possibly to set it to whatever you want.

well there should at least be options to have this full black mode and one that's with dark grey.
