wolfee 1 Posted October 21, 2019 I came back to APB Reloaded because I remembered how fun it was before the cheats took over and I heard that was getting cleaned up. I have a few things to mention so bear with me: 1. You're losing new players every day because they're having to compete with rank 195+ players, often rank 255. There needs to be a way to separate the "have's" from the "have nots", fast. 2. I came back because it's a fun game, lots of potential, ability to customize/design your own toon and vechicles, etc. You don't come back to games because they sucked. 3. Contact progression is not possible as-is, rarely does anyone play Waterfront. Not sure why, it's not that bad but people won't hang around if they can't progress. Increase ways to gain standing in low population (or even empty) districts. Enforcers have NO WAY to do this. "J" lets you choose a contact to pledge to but the contact has to be in the district you're playing in. As a temporary fix, change this. If everyone is playing on Financial (99% of the time), let people pledge to Waterfront contacts and gain standing. My current Enforcer re-roll is at a standstill because there's no way to progress. Non-mission standing increases seem very low IMO. If you can't compete in the missions because you're going against OP players, there has to be another way to gain standing that is more efficient/enjoyable. Example: I joined the Silver Waterfront district (pretty much all r195+) and ran around grabbing stolen vehicles and taking them to the impound. I had a 1.5 multiplier and turned in ~2000 cash at the evidence vault and got ~100 standing with my contact. That's not gonna keep anyone around.
52656B6B79 0 Posted October 22, 2019 I was going to add a thread about out of mission activities but since you made a point of it already I'll give my idea of something quick and easy to get enforcers started. In some missions enforcers need to go to certain points and investigate, take pictures and whatnot. What if they were allowed to do this at random points in the map outside of missions? Reward a tiny bit of cash and a chance to find evidence (small items). Similar to mugging it would add standing while pledged and criminals can catch them in the act.
