CRASH - File blocking when loading game.

Thought I'd hop on to check what's up.

Updated > launched > trailer etc. > when camera starts zooming out before account log in screen is presented, the game freezes and crashes. 
Followed by error report.

Culprit :
C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft.vc80.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.6229_none_d089f796442de10e\msvcp80.dll".

Tried to repair next. Same thing.

Uninstalled game, thought it's in order since missed few updates over the while.

Re-installed. Same thing.

Same culprit.

Any help is appreciated, thanks. College is nearly done so have more time.

Are you logging in with steam?

 

if so launching the game without steam and logging in manually may help:

* Uninstall all:
Microsoft Visual C++
from Control panel
* after that delete file listed by BE
C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft.vc80.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.6229_none_d089f796442de10e\msvcp80.dll
* after all of that install this package of all Visual C++ runtimes

* after that run some virus scan


for my friend its blocking "RIVA Tuner" and "Start is back"

PS. BE blocking attaching to the process thats why its sidplaying that things - if applications isnt verified then it happends

I had the same problem spent 2 hours trying to fix it to no avail until I tried this.  Just download the game from Gamersfirst rather than steam.

yes thats what im doing lately i disabled auto-Sign in with steam and im log in manually
