Can't equip impact armpads

I can't equip the impact armpads that i bought from armas. Its for male and enf chars which my char is.I can customize it but can't equip it. There is an exclamation mark where the equip button should be.

i believe that means there’s a required item that you have to wear

 

if you hover over the exclamation point a box should appear detailing what items allow you to wear the armpads

That's the weird part. For my rifleman west config yeah i can see the items that i need to wear to equip it when i pointed it, but there is nothing for impact armpads.

The arm pads should work without a vest.

only the impact shoulder one needs a vest (same as the armored shoulder one).

I'm guessing it's the shoulder pads, which were in the last batch of bundled items? It had a warning in the description that you need the Impact chestpiece or some other heavy armor chestpiece for them to go with

Yes I need heavy or impact west to equip it. Thanks ^^
