So uhm I've heard that if you're stay logged off for a super king time your rank diminishes/resets 

Not sure if that's true though

just like in cs,by not being active ur 'rank' aka threat in apb goes down

but its really slow,might be cuz pop is low

to get from gold to silver u have to not play for 1 or 2 year

i experienced it.

and i wont give more info about how it happen,but yea if ur gold is fresh(like new player who played for a month and then quit) u will loose it for innactivity

aswell population,to loose ur rank u need others to climb over it,nowaday no one gonna climb u with such low pop

its the reason why gold is so easy nowaday and u see much silver playstyles in it,alot of ppl quiting caused the disbalance in threat percentage

we need really decrease the percentage of gold players (which was already made with first pop looses) to fix it or add higher then gold threat

the threat system is not dynamic and it never has been, please don't spout nonsense - your threat level is your threat level and it only changes based on your calculated performance (and a few other indirect factors)

 

years ago there were a few (2 iirc) patches that manually "reset" global threat level percentages after major changes to the threat system, those are the only times a player's threat could have changed without them playing

I have seen people log on to max ranks and they are green threat.

 

I don't know how they did that, maybe they didn't log in for so long that the changes in the threat system just reset them to green for some reason.

Why would that be the case?

 

Dethreating is a form of griefing where a player intentionally throws match after match in order to artificially deflate their threat with the intention of joining lower threat districts in order to stomp on players much less skilled than them. 

 

If you are bad you are one of the players LO tries to protect from dethreaters.
