it’s a decent enough AR and it doesn’t have any of the terrible curve mechanics that the ntec has

that said i wouldn’t recommend purchasing one off armas since it really doesn’t have a unique playing style (other than “slightly better star” or “slightly worse ntec”) and you can unlock a f2p lease from the current xmas event

The only thing different is the looks.

I like it actually. Underrated IMO.

FAR as a whole is pretty unforgiving compared to N-TEC. but, if you can make it work, it is a pretty capable gun especially in closer ranges

i agree. Far is still one of the most satisfactory guns that just fits. doesn't blow people away, but holds its own. this "guide" is still pretty accurate (could be updated with the ir change): link

There is no IR change.

True, but there's no perma Charger and we can no longer spam free leases. . .

It's the opposite. FAR is very forgiving and easy to use making it a newbie friendly gun.

One can reach it's full potential without much effort but the peak will never be able to compete at the same level as more difficult guns like the NTEC for example.

But the FAR is both easier and more forgiving than the ntec.

Maybe, but neither is even remotely hard or unforgiving. The N-TEC certainly doesn't qualify as one of the "more difficult" guns in APB.

The N-TEC is essentially the 4x4 of guns: it's easy after a tiny bit of practice and does virtually everything pretty damned well, but then people for some reason pretend it requires some level of skill.

Ahh I see what you mean.

Yeah the only "hard" guns in APB are the bad ones. (imo)

I think that some of the top tier guns in APB could qualify as at least somewhat difficult, E.G. the OSCAR and .45 AP.

Or like, even the VBR is just as good as the N-TEC, (IMO,) and while not necessarily extremely difficult, is certainly harder than the N-TEC from my experience.

. . . but this is way off-topic at this point.

N-TEC had the curve mechanics removed.

No, the N-TEC and all its variants has a range, pershotmodifier and recoil curve.

Thanks for comprehending. There are obviously more difficult and challenging guns, or in context actual difficult "hard" guns, since more just describes the tendency here.

Merely used NTEC as comparison since it belongs to the same classification as FAR.
