Game crashing after I die and I press on spawn point.

Recommended Posts

As the title says, the game keeps crashing during the mission, after I press the spawn point... after I die.

What I tried:

1. Graphics drivers reinstall (they are up to date)
2. DirectX up to date
3. Reinstalled APB from scratch (few times already...)
4. Ofcourse, I tried "Repair" also, still nothing.

Can anyone please help me? I'm starting to grow white hairs...

When did this first start to occur? (maybe walking back through all the things you did back then might make you think of what the issue is)

Do you have anything else plugged in to the computer that is not being used, like controllers or other external devices (that's been known to cause the 'D3DERR_DEVICELOST' error in other games)?

I've never had this issue myself, so I'm mainly just guessing at this point. But from what I'm reading online, this might be an issue related to USB selective suspend. You could try disabling that here:

You can get to those setting from Settings > System > Power & sleep > Additional power settings > Change plan settings > Change advanced powerplan settings

I tried this... I have nothing plugged in usb slots (no gamepads, usb sticks...etc) the game keeps crashing, exactly after I click on spawn point, with the same error.
