the only game edits officially allowed are the advanced launcher, altho its super doubtful they'd ban for shaders, and nearly impossible for them to detect an overlay

use at your own risk

Seems like a lot of extra trouble to go through just for a crosshair / dot.

every edgelord has one, it's a must have for no-skill aimers.

Just use mumble overlay or some shit shader dot requires bloom which is cancer

You can modify the shader to disable the bloom effect without turning off bloom. Old forum has a tutorial on it.

Why even ask if you can't read? We can't give you any more info than the ToS clearly states.

A GM clarified this in a mission district last night, I did not take a screenshot of it however, so you will have to take my word for it. (GM MacGraham)

"As long as it doesn't modify the game files it is okay."

"What does that mean?" you might ask.

Well, a shader crosshair modifies the game files, so it is not allowed, however, Playclaw overlay, Overwolf overlay, Mumble overlay, certain monitor crosshairs, sharpie dots, etc are allowed because they don't touch the game files.

There is a nice simple rule... If you have to ask about these things don't do it.

People ingame keep saying a few different things. They say shit like "mattscott said it was ok and you just have to worry about BE". I didn't ask for YOU to give me anything. my post CLEARLY says i wanted a STAFF MEMBER to clarify. you are not a staff member and as far as I can tell, you don't even play the game anymore.

Regardless, I talked to mattscott and he said that he DID NOT say it was ok to put a xhair in.
