Theres been plenty, plenty of ideas to help stop cheaters across these years.

Those ideas can all be bypassed, ofc, but at least server like shit filters. Anything that can be applied would and could serve. But guess who is allways trickering those ideas with cheap excuses...

They lifted all, all the bans that been worked on for years. Some players took years to be banned and everyone knew they were cheating. They are unbanned now. They are bringing back their friend to start the story all over. They had second chances before and they didnt care. LO just threw money and effort and the most important PLAYERS to the trash doing that move.

I would keep a legit player banned but hundred of closets account locked forever.

Rerolls: they need to be stoped. Charge u$s5, even 1. Whipe unused accounts, whipe low rank accounts (unless they have armas purchases). Start charging for new accounts created... they will feed the system that prevents them to cheat. Or hire some professional gm (i doubt htere is anything decent out there).

Yeah i know no one would pay a dollar to play this game, release 3.5, great graphics, something interesting, something to hook up palyers (as im typing this shit i am having ideas that i later forget but i am not wasting to type them) and start charging even a dollar. Cheaters wont hesitate to pay a dolar to keep shitting the fun of others. That money will be used to shit them back with their own spent money.

I am pretty suspicious that if they do start taking action, they will be attacked with ddos non stop. Ok, thats where government starts taking action against these trash. And they need to be put behind bars. They tax every shit you virtually buy? Ok, its time fucking protect it (theyll eventually have more tax, its benefitial both sides).

Making APB P2P is not an option at this point. No one will pay those 5 bucks if they look at the steam reviews, youtube reviews or literally any other review site at this point. You'd literally stop new players from coming in at all and would still have a minor cheating problem, since most cheaters already pay for their hacks. Don't think they'd care for those 5 bucks to cheat again tbh.

"Just release 3.5 with great graphics", I love how people still believe that the engine upgrade is going to change the game visually.. there will be no change, nothing significant atleast. Its going to be the exact same game after the upgrade, minus the people still sitting on 32 bit systems in 2018. The upgrade was meant to make further development of the game easier, don't expect anything big after it drops.

And this is exactly what i am talking about, trickery.

I even would pay if they actively ban cheaters and send it to my mail which one are cheating and how they caught it. A daily list with known names, and methods to prevent them to create new accounts or just make them pay again to create one.

I was so happy when they implemented ff that i made a buy (never wanted to spend on this game because of cheaters, with all the honestity).

Well that didn't last long, but that month, that single month, was the happiest in this game.

Do you even know how it felt the lag free, able to shot at something without getting instantly killed, or have a decent to excellent score after years playing legit? I doubt it.

It was like my efforts to learn to play the game and all my items were worth for that month.

what new player will spend money on a game where legit players are banned and then also ignored as "collateral damage"? in the end the only people who would be left playing would be cheaters, since theyre the only ones who dont care about spending money after getting banned

Example 'Angie'; she complains about cheaters on her new forum account - these posts just stay hidden.

First I didn't understand why she made a new account. Why? She wanted to show that new members are being censored as if this is a cheater only forum.

Aka If a new players joins and complains about cheaters, it is totally censored.

This is a total clown show now. You don't want it here, we'll inform people everywhere else.

Hi all,

I want to be clear on our stance.

@SyllyBear/Excalibur - you chose to directly violate our ToS. This has nothing to do with your First Amendment rights or LO protecting cheaters. You can’t walk into a restaurant and take off all your clothes in the name of free speech. You will still get arrested and escorted off the premises. We don’t allow naming and shaming, and you repeatedly and blatantly broke that rule. Then you rage posted over and over after being warned, and then you verbally attacked my mod for simply doing their job.

There were many other options available to you to address the issue.

I respect your convictions. I respect that you chose to break the rules to ‘send us a message’. That message has been received loud and clear. But you have to take the personal responsibility for the consequences of your actions. The policy is clear. If I make an exception to name and shame for you, then I’ll have to do it for others, and we end up in a toxic cesspool of accusations on our forums.

Instead, we encourage players to submit reports to customer support. We have a special queue those go to. They are reviewed. GMs have a list of folks to watch, and we verify what is happening.

It doesn’t do us any good to have players advertise to the people we are watching on the forums. The goal is to catch them properly.

Personally, I think its unfortunate how things ended with your situation. I can’t know how frustrated you were with cheaters in Fight Club, but I know how frustrated I am with the cheating situation. Trust me. This is not a simple problem to solve. We spend significant amounts of time working on this issue.

There are announcements coming. New systems coming. Optimizations to existing systems happening. But before we start accusing LO of protecting cheaters or some other subversive agenda, let’s consider an alternate possibility - we’re just not very good at this yet. It’s new for us. Many of the things we thought would work, have only been partially successful. We have a dozen work streams

to manage - all of them are critical. And we have limited resources.

My promise is that we will get better.

Hold us to that statement.

All posts from new accounts are manually reviewed for a period of time. We implemented this a couple months ago to stop URL spammers. It has nothing to do with cheaters.

You may have read everything i say and there still no shame. They have no shame to ruin our fun and i have No shame to name them. Anyone, even you that barely touched the game, could tell he was doing it because of his insane speed and literally killing everyone of his oposite team. He made quit 40 players (or 35 w/e, even closeters) right that moment and the quickest way to get attention for help is on forums.

Is not like im making a list of players who i think cheat and start naming them.

About amandaments i know its silly, anyone could make a public place private and start nullifing them one by one as they please, and i honestly dont care.

About mods they could simply [REDACTED] the pic and say they are contacting a gm or anything to get that shit out of the game... but deleting the whole thread and warn me was the best option and cheater enjoy himself.

They are undoubtedly helped to the toxicity as your gms kicking players so other players can reach the first place. Ofc i will insult them, they helped the cheater and fueled my anger.

I hope you are near as frustrated as some players that had to stand cheaters for the amount of time they been playing and know that they run free once again, with multiples accounts to have fun after we all know they had second chances (more than second chances because they can make new accounts any time). And i hope you start making some filters so no freshly characters can join fc to start blatantly cheating at least.

ps: your text seems weak and not inspirational to me honestly, and im tired of hoping.

Hate me, spit me, insult me, ban me w/e it cross anyone mind, it will not change mine.

I'm blowing you a kiss and sending it via airmail!

Thank you for this and all the work you done, I won't deny it is an incredible frustrating time with growing pain of LittleOrbit and cynicism from GamersFirst shadow.

People keep forgetting or don't realise at times that LittleOrbit hasn't been here for a full year yet.

These forums are a private property owned by Gamersfirst. Their rules come first.

Multiple people have tried explaining that the First Amendment doesn't work this way on other threads. At that point I came to the conclusion that either he was ignoring every reply, is in denial or a is a straight up troll.

We have also explained that they need to read the rules because ToS is being violated.

It is not our job to moderate but goodness it's hard to ignore someone like this untill you realise they're not listening and the energy is just being wasted.

You're just frustrating everyone else and not helping the situation with cheaters, Cut the staff a break because they are working on it and it's not as simple as hitting the ban button because there are going to be EVEN more people frustrated if they get this wrong and ban innocent people. Rome wasn't built in a day.

His words are that of professional customer service with integrity, I doubt Matt Scott is planning to run for President 2020. He's doing his job.

If you can't accept the consequences of your free speech then expect more consequences of it!

For someone that doesn't care, you keep coming back complaining about cheating in game. If it is that bad then why don't you take a few month break and play other games because clearly APB is not worth it if cheating is  so bad that you feel compelled to break the rules of the forum too.

Last time I am addressing you this thread because it is a waste of time and I'm done giving you unnecessary attention.

You may think you're helping but staff can work more efficiently to ban cheaters if they have 1 port of location to correlate all reports, you can send videos and pictures to customer service as evidence but cheaters is a matter for the staff to deal with, not other players reading the forum.

From my own personal experience, if you're having a bad time with a video game and you can't stop yourself from coming back, just get yourself banned a couple dozen times and eventually you'll lose interest for a year or two.

You can ask support to block your account to make it easier to come back to later instead of getting banned as a punishment for being toxic.

I feel violated by reading posts from people on their alt accounts who I chose to ignore on their prior account.

This is straight up harassment and I demand consequences for putting me through these horrors (again).

Free speech also doesn't mean I'm obliged to listen to this crap.

Stop using "First Amendment" in computer game.

Jesus fucking Christ, using 1787 constitution to tell what is wrong and what is right. Even Senate of your freaking country need to fix your own constitution with constitution breaking laws. And what's with Americans always feeling so entitled to everything?!

Mentioning cheaters is banned on forums so topics about cheaters won't pop up every 20 minutes (We got such snowflakes here, it's directed to them.). Also because name&shame is against ToS. ToS you agreed upon when you registered.

Definitely straight up ignoring everything.

Except this whole image says nothing about when you break the rules. It doesnt matter who/what/when/where/why or how a platform is hosted a private business has the right to enforce censorship.

There is a time and place for "freedom of speech" but doing it in someones kitchen even when told "no" is still against the rules no matter how badly you want people to listen to you.

Regardless of what rights we have, people still have the right to refuse yours given the right circumstances. Whether you think its right or not.

Abiding by rules is not being anti freedom.

"The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees Freedom of Speech. This guarantee generally safeguards the right of individuals to express themselves without governmental restraint. Nevertheless, the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment is not absolute. It has never been interpreted to guarantee all forms of speech without any restraint whatsoever. Instead, the U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that state and federal governments may place reasonable restrictions on the time, place, and manner of individual expression. Time, place, and manner (TPM) restrictions accommodate public convenience and promote order by regulating traffic flow, preserving property interests, conserving the environment, and protecting the administration of justice."

Y'know, Katchwi, for someone who advocates for "freedom of debating", you sure aren't interested in actually having an open debate. If you were, you wouldn't outright say to another participant of a discussion (in this case, Matt Scott himself) that you don't care about their stance on the subject.

[also, the fact that this silly comic that responds to XKCD manages to repeat the flaws in logic that XKCD pointed out in the first place is an entirely different issue (see: "invited to speak and then told you can't" conveniently ignores the existence of Terms of Service and other forms of contracts; it also pretends that "consequences of speech" such as companies/groups/hosts refusing to be associated with a speaker and denouncing them is somehow censorship)]

I love that this snowflake even thinks we are under jurisdiction of US consitution (some are but you are on PRIVATE OWNED BOARD. Do you enter someone house and enforce your first amendment in there? Would you allow someone to give hateful opinion about you in your own house? No? Then why you require it on private property of someone?! Goddammit. It's not goverment or public site and even these have rules "prohibitng free speech"... It's called ToS!)

Try such shit with EA, Ubisoft, CDProjekt etc. You will get instantly banned from board for "trolling". Be lucky your account is not limited yet.
