Yeah, the work filter is still working. I used a word that rhymed with 'borno' to describe my enforcer's mustache it was changed to 'movie'. What? Movie 'stache sounds weird. LOL.

Please don't continue where G1 left off and actually READ through the support tickets. I'm more than happy to wait a week for a reply if it means I don't have to reply to the ticket 5x to clarify my problem.

Read through the reply.

 

As it stands, they are unbanning a lot of players in bulk.

 

If you aren't unbanned after BattleEye, then redo your ticket.

 

I've gone nearly a year without APB. What is two more weeks?

theyve already repeatedly stated that any tickets relating to bans will be removed from the queue until battleye is implemented, if your ticket is not related to cheating you should send that as a reply so they can put it back in the queue iirc

Read through the tickets yourself.
They explicitly state that if my ban was for cheating or use of 3rd party tools (which it was not) I would be unbanned. So that doesn't apply.
I already know that heads up my account wouldn't be unbanned so it would really be nice to know up front if they could help me. It would help if I would actually get a proper answer to the question I proposed.

Already complained in an answer about the non matching reply, still waiting for an answer. Still they could actually read tickets first before template stamping them

While I agree, still, just wait.

 

I am in the same boat, and got the same reply.

 

I am just going to wait, as I am sure support is being flooded by hundreds of tickets at the moment.

i dont blame them tbh, i think they stated they had about 2000 tickets in, even if they were to just read them all it could take weeks

 

we're in triage mode until battleye is released imo

As I said, I don't mind waiting, like, at all. I've wrote my first ticket to the old support like 4 weeks ago, the latest ticket reply I sent was on Monday. I'm not impatient at all, but it would very much shorten the process and very much decrease the number of tickets if the issues addressed in the tickets would actually be resolved. 
My ticket wasn't resolved, therefore back to flooding. If they'd have given me a proper answer it would have been one less open ticket to take care of. They really shouldn't start where G1 left off.

HAH. Welcome to the APB community, took a while but now you know the true face of the APB community. We are this way and oh boi I'd like to see you try changing that. 

In no means do I try to be offensive here but it's like trying to erase Racism from the planet, it won't happen, ever. 

 

It's majorly how humans become when it get's "Competetive", that's a human Nature to get salty and toxic, some might be over that but even they will at some point fall to that. should we be proud of that behaviour, hell no, but we are known to be the most toxic community on earth, we somehow earned something we never wanted to get but here we are now. 

 

Lixil, you are doing a good job, I won't deny that by going full-on troll like Luzextinguido does, but changing Human Nature and making us less toxic won't be archived in a month. In my Post in the "Open Letter to the Community thread," I wrote that you have yet to experience what you got yourself into, I think you now understand a bit better what you got yourself into.

 

I really wish you the best in dealing with the Community.

Heya! Okay, I want to clarify this issue for you. It can be a bit misleading for them to respond in such way, definitely. But here's why...

 

As of today, there has been 1900+ tickets since 25th that support is dealing with. After the announcement of mass unban, support immediately flags any ban related ticket and removes them from queue to be dealt with later on with that mass unban. All tickets tagged as unban get similar uniform answer only because they are already in a rush to get to everyone reporting other issues, in order to get up and running as many things as possible, as soon as possible. If you wish for your ticket to be checked again, you need to reply to your ticket. If you still did not get an answer, it is most likely that they still didn't get to it. It is mainly done to organise and divide issues, it has nothing to do with being too lazy or uninterested to respond properly. Be that as it may, we apologise for the delay.

These are the behaviors that are currently distracting me and my team and pulling us away from forward movement:

  • Insulting other players or group of players
  • Racism
  • Naming/Shaming
  • Spamming
  • Pornographic images
  • Posting support replies/Private messages from other players

 

 

Regarding support tickets, this will take time. There are a LOT, and I mean a LOT, of support tickets right now that we are in the process of resolving - all varying from simple to incredibly complex. I understand that all of you want your tickets resolved yesterday, but we are asking for everyone to be patient and to just chill out so we can focus on resolving them asap.

Just Copy paste lol what a joke ..... btw since 25th yea weekend and a holiday how about u guys stayed there and worked to solve this huge snowball that is now if i was a ceo and wanted to get things going id pay extra for 5 guys to get the job done

Isnt that what youre doing? Besides if you read any of what they were saying, lixils is busy working on the fourms AND tickets.The less she has on steam the better, just means she has the right priority. And as far as copy and paste... are you that naive? Why would they not? They clearly stated unbans wont happen until BE so why would they look at it! They should be happy those people got a response at all. Out of 2k tickets i bet over half is about unbans because nobody educates themselves on fourms which again leading people to flame threads that are off topic and multi posting about the same issue. If you really wanna see them succeed then participate or just not post pointless comments

Hey, thanks for the elaborate answer! I guess it makes sense that you handle things that way, I guess I'm just an edge case that fell a bit short down on the wrong end of the spectrum :] Hopefully my case will be resolved soon though, still holding tight and waiting patiently!

With all the current optimism and almost everyone being positive and nice to each other, someone I had an argue ingame years ago asked me if I remember that issue since we were being nice to each other, then this person said something like "glad to see you changed"  But I replied "this is the real me indeed, I think back in these days was when actually this game and its community changed me" regarding how negativity can pull you down sometimes if you are not alert.

These three summon up everything pretty well, we guys seems to be sorting this out by ourselves now.

 

I'll add something for the note, these of us here on forums actually are the voice of these who are not around because they only play the game and are not used to jump on forums too often or not at all, either on purpose or as a consequence we are bringing concerns that quite a bunch of other players might also want to know.

 

But also the thing about "toxicity"  starts to feel like an overused word and if we want to be honest I think every single person who ever took part of the forums may had what someone else consider a "toxic"  behavior towards other player or member of the forum.

 

So I think all this is good for us as a community to happen because I can tell a bunch here are re-evaluating their own attitudes from the past, with exception of these who justify such bad behaviors as something we can't erase from Earth so they rather stick to pessimism and they unconsciously naturalize negativism and toxicism.

 

But besides all this, diversity is what enriches a community and our contributions and contradictions are there for everyone to see so we can all learn how to be better every day.

Community GMs sounds like such a dangerous idea for this community in particular. It will bring more problems than the ones you have to deal with right now
