With an employee count of around 10-50, one might wonder if they will be able to manage all of 5 main games they own keeping them updated and such. Not that i'm an expert but honestly if i were them i'd focus on the two most important and promising titles right now such as APB and perhaps Descent before buying into more management and resource/time wasting.

haven’t they had unsung slightly longer than apb?

regardless, i think orbit has mentioned that they contract out dev work to different teams so i doubt this will really have an impact on us

there are companies that work on just a single game with about as many employees as LO and they take quite a bit of time releasing new updates bug fixes etc, New World Interactive or Overkill for example and imo LO seems to be biting off more than they can chew here.

I heard APB's original code was made by 3 people only, so 10-50 people to port the code towards 3.5 should be sufficient to pull that off. Plus, the company needs funds to progress. It isn't easy to survive from 2 games only, considering they aren't as massive as other titles out there. Moreover, LO is experienced with mobile games, so adding 1 more shouldn't be taxing on the company.

Little Orbit has multiple development teams under them for different games/projects. And both of their other games were picked up before APB.

their 2 games are not descent and apb it's FE and apb.

However another game i wish they would carry (dev team just gave up on it) is this.

Hi everyone,

Just for clarity we do have multiple teams in-house and we multiple external teams working on different titles. For instance, Descent is being done by a studio in Austin, TX.

We picked up Unsung Story in August 2017.

We picked up Descent in October 2017.

We picked up APB and Fallen Earth in May 2018.

Descent launches in Q1 2019, so we're basically done and just polishing that title.

I get a couple messages a week recommending titles that are being abandoned by other developers.

But our plate is very full at the moment, so we are not adding anything new.

Thanks,
Matt
