Always installing Directx

every time i press play to play apb it always says installing directx but 0 remaining and says complete yet i still says updating, i have tried reinstalling apb reloaded but it is still doing it, any fixes people know or if its not on my side could you fix this

Make sure when you're reinstalling that you fully delete everything.
1. Uninstall the game
2. Go to the folder where it used to be in and delete whatever stayed behind.
3. Reinstall

That should get rid of it for good

i have just done that and it is still doing the same thing

Very odd, I did a full clean install a couple days ago (full reset of a system), that install isn't trying to reinstall directX every time either.

as @ElectroStingz mentioned in several different posts, this is what your registry should look like when everything is installed correctly.

You could always just edit them to be the same as in the picture, that should stop it from trying to reinstall directX

i tried the DirectX_June2010program, a yes or no pops up, clicked yes and nothing else happened, did the website download and still a no go

could you possibly record the entire launch process so we can see what it's exactly giving you as messages. Maybe that can help us further

There was a bug with it a while ago, I'm surprised it still happening.

What I did to fix was delete the "DirectX"(or whatever the install folder is called) in "Binaries", if I remember correctly.

Its been a few months since I fixed it, if I'm wrong, I do apologize.
