Hello

We're going to be deploying a very quick patch at 4.30 PM BST for 1 hour. This is to address some community concerns with the ACES series of weapons.

WEAPON BALANCE

We're addressing some community concerns about the ACES series of weapons (both Rifle and SMG.)
These changes include:
Weapon Damage has been reduced by 5 (0.5% of player health). This has increased the number of bullets required to kill a player from full health by 1.

The ACES is now the most useless CQC weapon. The only people that will now be able to reliably kill people in one mag are botters.

If you absolutely need that 0.03 second TTK advantage, use a Tommygun, much more forgiving.
Otherwise, stick to your CSG, still the best gun in the game.


It's a shame. The ACES SMG is the best looking weapon RP has designed.

Might as well increase the mag size at this point, otherwise you're better off with a tommy or OCA.

So will become equal to the 1922 with CJ3! Cause now the TTK is 0.59 with a fire interval of 0.045, if we add a shot to kill will be 0.59+0.045=0.635 like the tommygun... Cool i will save more G1 than expected :)

Am I the only person that didn't have problems with the ACES damage and fire rate?

yep... this is new ttk after the patch btw:

[17:28:03] Kamil Masłowiec: smg 0,635
[17:28:27] Kamil Masłowiec: rifle 0,715

notice how rifle kills slower than oca/pmg/ntec/csg/atac/tommy

Community says shotguns are not balanced:
People deny rthat shotguns aren't OP and here is why they are OP.

Oddly enough I am not a tryhard, infact I play pretty bad, HOWEVER, I know bad players that cant handle tactics, people that have issues with shotguns are a large one. They are easy to counter, no one just bothers, dies from them, and claims their overpowered.

This.
It already fires so fast, a small change wouldn't be noticeable but the TTK would go up enough.

Oddly enough I am not a tryhard, infact I play pretty bad, HOWEVER, I know bad players that cant handle tactics, people that have issues with shotguns are a large one. They are easy to counter, no one just bothers, dies from them, and claims their overpowered.


With the game heavily relying on CQC and shotguns being one of the most damaging and (at the same time) mobile CQC weapons you can see where most of us come from

Those numbers only apply if they stand right infront of each other not moving at all...

/e ANYWAY,thank you for doing this before releasing that gun on Armas,a lot of people saved money thanks to this. :)
