It would help if LO actually did some significant work with the engine update n lag n shit cause it’s god tier annoying and I would definitely see why someone would get really angry about it. LORD KNOWS what LO is doing with this update and I’m sure they’re working hard but seriously I feel like they’re not addressing the lag issues enough. They said they would start working on this in July but like I’ve yet to see any updates or progress. Like I don’t think they have been updating the roadmap or checking in with us about their progress. If anything they’re just not even talking about it or at least mentioning what’s in the works as of right now

I even took a butcher knife and cut my broken bed as of angry. I really was fucking mad at fortnite. And today at APB ON console as a fucking enforcer. Fucking ATAC and perc cunts. I even punched a wall so hard I fucked my left hand up and my mom wouldn't do anything it saying it's my fault. It might be from all the times I been bullied or fucked within school and never did anything back. I could be mental or bipolar. Please help. I'm only [REDACTED] You'll have to check my profile for my age.

You're mum should sell your games console to pay for the repairs to the home.

2 birds with one stone. problem solved.

My son, who plays Fortnite rages when he gets shot or killed. He is 9.

I used to be just like you...raging when you miss a kill shot or when lag seemingly made my aim bad. I hulk smashed my desk...breaking it of course but this is when I realized I need not to care what the people of APB think of my gameplay and to focus on playing the game for fun. Now I can go 1-9 and not even care.

Now if I could only teach my son...he is 9 so...

Dear MortisedGuide, and anyone else who gets angry at computer games.

I feel your pain. I understand how frustrating it can be and it can be quite disturbing to feel like you've lost control of yourself.

  • First and foremost if you find that you are getting angry at something; STEP AWAY FROM THE SOURCE. It doesn't have to be long, but take a moment to get away from your desk and breathe, go grab a cold drink, have a look out the window. Just don't sit there and stew in your own emotions, it isn't healthy.
  • Second, ask yourself what caused the anger or upset. Recognising the signs can help.
    • Is it that you died in the game? Something someone said or did?
    • Have you had a sudden drop in your blood sugar or similar biological responses?
  • Keep a small diary of things that anger you and how often you feel the need to lash out. The photo journal is a good start and it helps you to identify and label your emotions.
  • If you find yourself being angered by the same thing over and over again, try and avoid it until you have some more tools to manage your anger at your disposal.
I understand that you don't want to quit a game you find is fun. Why not take some time out after a difficult mission and try your hand at music, symbol, car or clothing design?

Remember, it isn't just you. You aren't alone. There is help out there. Take the time to look around for sustainable coping mechanisms that work for you.

Have a look at the following resources and see what, if anything, works for you? There's more out there than just these, but it should be enough to get you started.

Play Skyrim or Fallout 4 inbetween.

Worst thing i ever did while playing APB was destroying a keyboard i considered expendable, and that damn thing had it coming anyways. I love my new keyboard btw.

I should play happy wars or rainbow six siege. I'm acutally good at those 2 meaning I don't rage anymore.

in all seriousness invest in a punching bag. when you find yourself angry got straight to it. dont focus on yelling when hitting it. focus just solely on punching it. this will help for a time. also i would say go to either another relative to talk to or look online for anger management classes in your area, police stations and/or hospitals also may have info on this. for now dont punch walls as it would do anything instead punch a pillow. they are softer and can take a good hit plus are cheaper to replace if destroyed.

I tried to get my mom to get me a punching bag and once again she says no. I was thinking about asking for one since when I can just punch my anger out.

One one side of the coin, you should look up anger management techniques but when you get the chance, go back to the fundamentals. Realize it's not your fault and what people think of you isn't worth that level of stress. You will learn, you will improve, and at the end of the day being better is better than looking better (your stats for any given day).

And on the other side of the coin, you can use those pictures to get a quote from local repair companies.

It is but not when you have a mom that gets mad at you for eating too much. I'm growing and she's getting mad at me.
