I finally decided to release my UI, in a non-clan version, for everyone!
This UI features changes to pretty much everything in order to make things look more badass, and improve the efficiency of icons.

Installation:

To install the Badass UI just follow the following easy steps:

1) Download the Badass UI by clicking here.
It's a .zip archive so you will need to open it with WinRar, you can download it by clicking here.

2) Unzip the archive in your Fallen Earth/skins directory, usually C:\Games\Fallen Earth\skins.

3) Start the game. Once in-game hit Esc, Options, Interface and you'll see a "skin" option: choose Badass UI and hit Ok.

4) The game will now prompt a message saying the game requires a restart for the UI to be applied. Click Yes.

5) Enjoy!

I know at some point there were words about crosshair dots being approved by devs. Personally i find it a little bit cheating. They way they are now gives you just that extra little challenge.

What i would really like is for a mod to show target hp in NUMBERS :)

Red dots... Gogi uses it in many videos and he's still around so I guess it's ok.
I personally think it's ok, for 2 reasons:
1) Anyone can use them, so it's not an advantage over others. It's like saying healing is cheating, you can do it too.
2) I own my monitor, I'm free to stick a dot on it.

Health in numbers... I don't see that possible for enemies. Only self.

Note that this UI can also be turned into a "invisible UI", very useful for PvP.
If you set transparency of user status and minimap to 0 it will look like this:

Other UI's have that 'dot' in the middle of the crosshairs -- is this something you can do as well for this UI? Or is it a third party program that does it?

Well done by the way

It's a third party program.
I think it's possible to put it in the UI as well, but you'd have a dot stuck there forever.
It's better to have a dot you can toggle whenever you want imo.

Any uis with the dot it isn't a 3rd party program its in the ui and mostly because 3rd party programs are quite grey areaish.

Actually buddy it's NOT I repeat NOT a third party program. The dot skins that saints use are simply a modded FE skin itself, falling within all of the rules of a custom FE UI skin.

From what I understand, the GUI 'target dot' to assist with this centre screen accuracy, is tied to another GUI element within the skin. Most likely the Health/Stamina/Gamma panel. The skin txt file is probably adapted so that the panel area covers a larger pixel space than the stat panel itself so that you can position the health bars on your screen in a way that the home made reticule appears central on your screen. By combining the two together, you can use the 'dot' to drag the panel around the screen and position it to your preference.

If you can adapt the panel so that the target dot is, say, 8 inches north of the panel and everything is transparent in between, then I reckon you will work it out, place the panel at the feet of your character and the dot will be center screen. I've been meaning to give it a try through GIMP but haven't found the time yet to concentrate on this. No one who has the working skin is willing to share, wisely to protect their advantage, so just putting this idea out there.

I may not be right but from what research I have done so far, this seems the most likely approach.

We weren't talking about Saints' UI, he said "other UIs".

Then again, third party programs are as legit as built-in ones if they don't touch any file of FE.
Whoever claim they are illegal it's like claiming running Windows Media Player along with FE is illegal.

People just put them in the ui so as its not a grey area etc etc. And the reason holly referred to saints ui is mostly because thats where it got publicized from lol. Although its nothing new cause any sort of dot works whether it be a piece of tape with a marker dot etc etc

Indeed,

Create new tga file called aimskill_9000.tga with pixelsize the same as your screen resolution size x,y
Copy an element from a window that you can hide (to remove the crosshair dot)
Paste the element where you need it.

Adapt the grfx_game.wmm to include the new reference to the element

Put 4 dots in grfx_game.tga (to use as your passive aimbot)
Adapt the grfx_game.wmm to include the new reference to the laserdot

Adapt wnd.ini to put your dot at the exect place your weopan will hit. SHould be around x/2,y/2

PS: I don't use the dot in my UI as I usually get bored while waiting between reloads of my auto-rifle which is slower than a RL- bolt-action rifle... Dots are used in RL for fast aiming and has no use for me. I shoot so slow I could be shooting Miss Daisy and still miss.

You now instantly gained "Saints Aiming Skill". There, happy now?

Yes I have the same problem. I would like to know how to fix this or have this UI Mod updated with the fix. Here is a picture of the missing icons.

Also how can I add a custom crosshair to this mod. I would like this crosshair mod.
Prophes0r's Cross-hair UI - Functional replacement for the default cross-hair

Edit:
Also in the quest list "J" it doesnt show all the icons and you cant see which quests are selected.
