Im not sure Tiggs actually made that call herself.

And while most of us disagreed with G1's approach,  you can't say they were acting outside of their rights.

Tiggs was the producer at the time, and probably one of the few employed at the moment.

Plus her attitude was terrible at the time. "I don't care. Give me money."

But I can. 11 months from redemption to suspension.

All major Credit Card Companies are between 90 and 120 days. Not 330.

Even if Steam took 120 days, and G1 took 120 days, there is still 90 uncounted days.

Yeah... No, not gonna agree with you on this, Cookie.

If they hit me within the 120 days after redemption, okay. My bad. Here's $40.

But nearly a year later?

That's like banning for the Retail codes.

its very possible g1 attempted legal action to stop the chargebacks, especially since it was such a large amount of money, i still dont see the issue with the timing tbh

You don't see the problem with a company taking 3 to 4 times the allotted time that the Credit Card Companies allow for a charge back?

I am not talking Chase, Capital One, etc.

I am talking Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. In their documents, 120 days was the max.

Most financial institutions allow a carrying 90 to 120 days.

PayPal allows 90 days.

eBay allows 90 days.

So how the hell did I get suspended 330 days after the transaction?

That was -my- issue. The time frame.

And glad Savior Scott is letting me back.

Gonna buy an accountwide CASE.

im saying the chargeback could very well have been initiated well within the 90 days or 120 days, and then when/if g1 contested it, the time frame was dragged out

i dont have anything more than passing knowledge on the process that happens when a company contests thousands of dollars of chargebacks, but it makes sense to me

Well, when I first responded to Tiggs, I had linked multiple information sources, from the Card Companies, Financial Institutions, eBay, Steam, and PayPal regarding numerous different time frames regarding charge back policies.

None of them spanned a year later.

Also, most merchants have 45 days to respond to the requests.

So, 120+45=165. Not 330.

Nothing about my suspension was kosher.

Hi guys,

I'm glad everyone had a chance to read the Q&A transcript - thanks @SKay again for getting that done so quickly.

I'm going to lock this but leave it pinned for a little longer.

We will do more of these in the future. The intention is to mix up the hosts and get to more questions from the community.

Thanks,
Matt
