Don't forget the shitty spawns that don't factor in water or bridges

Well... Looks like both Lynette Casey (The Redhead from Tigers) and Lucas Van Rooyen (Simeone's Lapdog Bodyguard) will be in WF, because that 2 empty spawn points (One for ENFORCERS and other for CRIMINALS [Can someone post 2 pics of the map please, one while ENF and other while CRIM])

Templeton and Devil Dog are Tier 5. Aletta is the Specialist.

We have 2 contacts yet to be Introduced (The Redhead alongside Darryl Kent on the Tigers char selection screen and The Bodygaurd of Michael Simeone)

Those and the leaders of faction that is. Never knew what "specialist" mean. So ill just carry with tier 6 xD

They're called specialist because the old top contacts were faction leaders, and therefore there needed to be a term for them which didn't imply superiority.

Additionally, each of the contact specialises roughly in one area or another. Aletta Cadagan and Gumball for example offer vehicle mods, whilst Devil Dog and Tip Toe focus more on weapons.

The old developers stated a few times the reason they never released the fourth specialist contact was because they didn't have enough content to release with them.

You don't need to see the spawn points to believe it. There are four specialist contacts per faction, and we have only got three of them, with two of them being in Financial. Therefore it makes sense that the final one belongs in Waterfront. You can actually see what the contacts look like in the starting screens. Lynette Casey appears on the beach with the other Prentiss Tigers, and Lucas Van Rooyen appears as the looming figure over the player in the Criminal night club.

Did you also know that the rank symbols go all the way up to rank 300? The absolutely final contacts for APB could in fact be Mayor Jane Derren for Enforcers, and Luke Waskawi for Criminals, although we only have a character model for the former.

So this makes Mayor Derren and Luke a 25 level contact. 255 Currently + 20 from Lynette/Lucas + 25 from Derren/Luke.

It fits with the current progression:

Starter Contacts: 5 Levels

Regular Contacts: 10 Levels

Boss Contacts: 15 Levels

Specialist Contacts: 20 Levels

Final Contacts: 25 Levels

I believe sites such as db.apbvault.net have all the in game lore emails available to read. I think APB's lore is actually fairly solid, despite of how little of it features in game.

Well... About Lynette and Darryl. Darryl's GF was Lynette's older sister that got murdered in the place of Darryl when the Bloodroses tried to murder him.

Only problem I have with Waterfront is when it becomes Laggyfront. Otherwise, I don't mind playing there at all. The map is meant to change up your play style, and allowing more play for ranged weapons.

Also since when does WF get empty now that a large chunk of pop came back? O_o

Part of it is also left right bias of humans. Financial is on the left so all the noobs go there first.

Because the maps were designed around the original TTK/no weapon dropoff, so big open spaces and the HVR weren't the problem they are today.

This.

The weapon drop off mechanic does not work with the level design in this game.

Financial doesn't suffer quite as much since it's more dense in general. The streets are not as wide and there are a lot of places you can run through and loop back around and so forth. There's "stuff" in the way. It gives a wider range of play for both attackers and defenders. It's not perfect, but it's better in comparison to Waterfront.

Waterfront is very spacious, and there isn't much range variance. There aren't a lot of ways to get to an objective, but there are a lot of ways to defend an objective. And most of the defense points allow for multiple long range weapons such as the HVR and/or OBIR. And these weapons simply dominate on that map. In Finanial, HVR isn't always the best option for defense because the proximity of the point and line of sight aren't working in your favor.

Personally, I've never enjoyed the range drop off mechanic. It's not so much that I didn't like the idea. It's that I think it could have been handled a little better, and I knew as soon as it happened it would exploit the Level Design. It's why we are stuck in this HVR/OCA war.

No. Just no you are wrong and should be ashamed of yourself. Some of the best battles can revolve around those areas. Just because Waterfront is a different style of combat doesn't mean its bad, it means adapt or die.

Also you should be ashamed of your graphics settings, cause that is just ugly!
