whisper feature should only be used on your friends list

The whispering feature in the game is generally used as insulting, swearing, racism. I don't want people not on my friend list to whisper to me. Should at least be added to the settings as an optional option.

You can disable the whisper tab in chat if you are too disabled to handle some gamer talk.

It can be entertaining reading, the irony of somebody calling someone else stupid when they themselves can't even spell a five letter word correctly. Your boos mean nothing to me I've seen what makes you cheer.

I use whisper to offer people free stuff otherwise everybody wants one and I can only buy or duplicate so many

i just turn all of chat off. it's like fallen earth some kid is crying in chat becuase x did this or x is trying to piss off player x for fun and it's not fun or funny it is old and stale and really really boring

Being on the EU server though some of the chat is indecipherable, I don't even recognise the letters, it may as well be chinese. It needs a "translate gibberish" button so I can get the gist of the gibber at least.

It doesn't get rid of that annoying new message click sound. Same issue when people type in /say instead of /d. If hiding the message removed the sound it would be perfect.

I was going to say those options don't work, but checking them in and unchecking them again fixed it. THANK YOU!

 

But even then, you can't separate it between friends so that option is useless for the op.
