Change consumables to mods with a cooldown, like they should've been in the first place.

Stop 'Letting' hackers hack, install anti cheat,, Wallet Closed! 😩 😭 🤬

All software based protections are bypassable, soon even software based protections aren't good enough, hacking is moving from software level to hardware level, Project EPO is one example of this.

It basically clears the system of all sorts of things that can happen while a server runs over the week such as Memory leaks, ghost processes and other things that could hinder the server from performing optimally.

Project EPO

Seems there's a big business in game hacking, You'd think it be a self defeating business beings that hackers make people leave games, destroying the game itself and leaving very few players to feed off of. All to promote their own self image and feed their sociopathic needs. Funny thing is watchin them deny it. They like Speed Tweekers standing in the store cereal Ilse trying to make a decision for 2 hours, n they think noone can tell.  Its not even that hard of a game n they simply cant compete with My skills so they hack. 😉

It's profitable business for cheat developers, they're the ones laughing and making profit out of idiots, but It can be countered by a hardware-based anti-cheat device.

Been begging for this since they first tested the damn things.

They were initially supposed to be "rewards" for doing missions and all that. Which makes absolutely no sense. They are just tedious and beyond irritating. Just plain easier and better as mods. Simpler to deal with balance wise too.

Begged for some rare guns, cars, skins, etc instead of that garbage. Even if they are just leases it'd still be more rewarding if that's still the goal. I mean there's the old unused OG fight club guns yet + some other rotting content. Some of which were never perm to begin with so no harm done.  Toss in a couple of possible items - short leases being more common with a super rare chance at a perm or something and boom. Better system for rewarding people imo.

What's with the sudden change from everyone on this though?

what sudden change?

consumables being normal mods or outright deleted have been pretty common suggestions since they were introduced

People bandwagon on random old things like jumpshooting, consumables and other stuff and cycle thro it. Some people on the forums are more vocal about it, cause it's brought up by semi-decent players and the cycle continues... one of many changes that don't get heard, not even a single arguement against it from the devs either.

offtopic from this reply: Since most of the core dev team has stayed the same (according to Matt), can anyone from the dev team come out and state their CLEAR intentions, vision and goals for APB's weapon/mod balancing? What do they have in plan? Do they have people that test the game and give them feedback? Why is feedback that has been reiterated numerious times not getting heard? Can we get a CLEAR and CONCISE blogpost explaining everything? It really feels like the team in charge of balancing does not understand the fundamentals of shooter games, nor do they understand their own game.

Can't speak for others, but I've personally held this view since day 1 of consumables being a thing.

The devs are either making stuff up as they go or relying on the noobs in their SPCT team, who also happen to be people that support cheaters or have a history of cheating themselves. SPCT also has players who are silver, and low golds who are really bad and get carried by cheaters on their team.

Quoting truth for emphasis.
