Recommended Posts

I keep getting these 'Ran out of memory' messages and then which it closes my game. Once I start up APB again, it does a automatic repair. Anyone else getting this?

Specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X

RTX 2080 16GB

32GB 3600MHz RAM

TUF Gaming X570-PLUS

Windows 10

It's the 20xx series card

All you can do is reduce graphics to try and avoid it. I have the same issue with my 2060.

I assume they're testing on the 20xx cards to stop this from happening?

It's no longer an issue on the updated engine.

Still waiting for them to add a high quality character option for only our own character on minimal graphics settings so we dont have to play with blurry characters and clothing for years without having to use 3rd party stuff, as a band aid fix.

This thread has been moved to the PC Bug and Tech Issues section of our forums.

As mentioned by some of our users, this is an unfortunate issue that cannot be fully resolved within the current engine.

The team is hard at work to bring the game to a newer version of the Unreal Engine where this issue doesn't present itself.

Just popped back in after a long time - got in a mission within 30s - instant fun.

3m later - Out of Memory

32g of memory, Intel i7, GTX 2070 Super w/2g

Hahaha - I just looked at my post history - I had the same issue I last tried to play in May 2020.  Hell I even posted in this same thread.

LO - good luck guys - keep pushing!

Check this topic RTX Series Issues . Done a load of testing around this issue and similar. with some great results. worth a look .

That's really well put together.  Currently with the covid - my home machine is my work machine, so I'm going to try not doing anything at all to it.  However if they can't get this straightened out (or work from home is over) - I'll dig into your guide.

thanks!
