Y'all got any cheese?

Recommended Posts

Really searching for a nice wedge of western United States cheese. Preferably slightly shatt'ed on. Maybe some soup tomato or grilled cheese bread sandwich to go with, do not offer me wine I will not accept. Thank You all

So you're looking for a slice of Oregonian Poopoo Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich Chaser? OPCGCSC? Sounds like a grenade launching shottie with a custom tagger.

America does not make any good cheeses.

American cheese legally cannot be called cheese.

Yet it is still the best 'cheese' for burgers.

Hmm.

Damn, as a french who lived in Tennessee for about a year as an exchange student, I must tell you that you shouldn't stick to american cheese.

Try our french cheeses instead, I guarantee you that the grass is greener there.

I was waiting for that one

Blue cheese is just ONE kind of cheese

there are millions of different kinds, you can pretty much avoid it (I personally dislike blue cheese, I prefer cheeses like Mont d'Or, Saint Marcelin, Epoisse....) 😄

Even if my comment made me look like a cheese-simpleton, it was worth it. It had to be done.

I dislike blue cheese as well, and I'm not particularly fond of soft cheeses. My favourites at the moment are aged gouda/parmesan'ish hybrids - firm and flaky cheese with crunchy crystals, and we have some excellent local choices here in Denmark.
