Emergency maintenance 1/23 1AM PST (COMPLETE)

Hi all,

 

I am sorry. I have just been notified by my network engineers that our Europe provider misunderstood and scheduled our hardware upgrades for today instead of tomorrow. 


Europe districts are offline, so we are going to do the maintenance now.

But I just woke up 😧 Noo.   Oh well, more Rimworld shenanigans until the servers pop back up. x)

For the.. what.. 5/6 time they did misunderstood?

Everyone misunderstand damn it.

We are still short servers to put threat back in. I’m anticipating we’ll have those online by Friday the 31st.

Looks like in our rush, we left a restriction on that booted regular players but not our admin who tested that everything was up.

 

Everything should be working properly now.

Honestly, no offense, just pay attention to servers status and what Matt said.

Server were back online but something went* wrong.

We're drastically short on population as well, I and a lot of other people ain't so sure it's a good idea to bring this back just yet despite servers available. 
 There has to actually be people to face in those districts, and Jericho has been severely lacking of late.

I hope new cpus gives more stable server tick rate because now it was 35-45. Does new cpus have higher clocks or more cores?

I really feel for you, it really seems that you've landed with the worst provider in Europe.

 

You've seemingly got the most incapable provider in all of Europe. In any situation that impacts customers, if I "misunderstood" and took your services down, I would be fired. Perhaps because of the higher stakes, but their track record is pathetic.

 

In the past two months they've:

  1. Failed to provide hardware on time
  2. Failed to file necessary paperwork for hardware to clear customs
  3. Failed to install the proper software/operating systems
  4. Failed to schedule a proper downtime and took your services down a day early.

I'm sure you're re-evaluating your business with them, but it's such a bad look for APB when the European provider is so wildly incompetent.

So you are stating everything that happened from the beginning to this day is the provider fault, do you have any prove?
