APBLauncher_Tempprogram ERROR

Recommended Posts

Hi, i'm currently having an issue when launching APB, after loading the launcher and failing to install directx the gmae just crashes and windows pops up with the APBLauncher_Tempprogram ERROR Application could not launch.

Also while trying to load it through Advanced launcher bypassing the vanilla launcher BattlEye gives us a driver error (2), failing to launch. I've been searchign a workaround but nothing so far, also at the start i had some problems with a fresh reinstall since it wasnt downloading a whole GB of data from the latest patch, i was missing folders and battleeye itself.

Any idea what could it be?

Make sure you have the latest version of the Visual Studio 2012 C++ Redist installed (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679) as well as .NET Framework 4.0 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851) and then launch the patcher again.

That did not fixe it, ive tried reinstalling all the Visual Studio C++ and did nothing, im clueless.

Also i've noticed that im missing some files in C:\Users\Usuario\AppData\Local\Microsoft, these folders: CLR_v4.0_32, CLR_v4.0, CLR_v2.0, When comparing to a working apb.

I have had problems launching the game after patch also. The problem for me is that my antivirus is blocking and quarantining files related to battleeye. Im using Bitdefender antivirus. Maybe check if its something with ur antivirus also.

The main problem is i dont eveng et to the BattlEye installation part, the launcher crashes automatically without even being able to repair.

Can you try installing DirectX 9 manually from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35?

Apparently it fixerd itself, withoput us doing anything noticeable, so i'm not sure what did it, there were some shady windows upgrades that could have done something, but im not sure, im still curious. And we tried installing it manually before, yes.
