Consider lowering Baylan FC's maximum playercount

That particular fight club becomes a coverless clusterfuck at maximum player capacity. I've enjoyed the best matches on it around the 12v12 mark, since the district stays chaotic enough without getting to the point where there's no safe angles - perhaps limiting players to that could help? What do you guys

wasn't it like 16v16 for a long time, and at some point got increased to 20v20?...
I really wonder who thought this would be a good idea...

but yea, I totally agree, it should be lowered - at least reverted to 16v16 again.

The district is fine as is, if you set it to 12v12 this will just create a second baylen district that is not filled up with most likely a pop of 3v5 or so.

 

We can already see that decreasing the players in the district affects baylen very negatively due to the game turning to hide and seek. For example, at night time when it is 6v6 or so.

 

Whatever the max is right now, it is a bit of a squeeze but 100% playable and just invites to change up your gameplay compared to playing the mission districts and Asylums CQC, TTK wins mentality (this last sentence was oversimplified).

 

I would suggest increasing the district to 20v20 as stated before and let the community as a whole provide feedback if it is worse or better.

 

Just a thoroughly explained opinion.

Youre still going to have people either spawning 30m behind you or spawning 30m behind someone. Its a dumpster fire because their is no structure to the spawning system in baylan. Spawns were actually less of an issue when they rotated around the edge of the map in a predictable way because they still have structure and teams actually spawned together not is every spawn location possible over the entire map.

when Baylan was 16 vs 16 people also complained less about lag trouble during gameplay in there.

I am one of them who has trouble at 20 vs 20 from it being too heavy but at 16 it was minor for me

I also think 20v20 is too much, the biggest problem are the spawns! You are always spawning in the outer part of the map, a lot of times when you spawn you can't even move from that position. I never noticed this problem when there were less players
