If you get this error

s1KDpyR.png

It's because Ninja ripper dumped .dll files in the APB directory.

They are used for the injection method and they're safe to delete.

Same goes for most other files that show up as blocked.

That's unfortunate, I was kind of interested in using the vehicles from APB for other games, as APB really gives me a lot of freedom when it comes to customizing vehicles.

What's the word on localization edits / deleting district specific compats?

If you can do with just the base car models without any customization on them you can rip them straight from the game's files with UModel.  If not it looks like we just have to wait  v('~')v

After doing a fresh APB install and doing some testing: Deleting unnecessary (district-specific) compat files + replacing certain audio packages with blank files + 'removing' a lot of audio files + always sprint edit + different killfeed / misson description edits (via localization) all seem to work fine under BattleEye.

Oh yea, it works just fine.

There's just 2 issues:

1. they are most likely not banning instantly since it's new and all. They are most likely monitoring flags.

2. they might make changes later on, that could pick these edits.

a bit paranoid, sure, but just be aware it could be possible.

Fair enough.

Anything about NinjaRipper in APB again? I'd like to make renders for artworks

Check the creation sub-forum and the 3D post.

You can also rip a lot more models if you have the retail install disk or the RTW client.

Yup, pretty much everything is on there other than post 2011 content.  Plus the original model for the Vegas is there from before G1 broke it apart to add the Rhino kit to make roofs and fenders swappable parts.  No Asylum though 😞
