I prefer the small grain kind, i think it looks cute. For each cup of rice just add another cup and a half since this kind doesn't need as much water. And just let it simmer for around 15 minutes. 

 

Also, rinse your rice, it seems to help with the texture. Some people also suggest adding a bit of salt, it tastes better.  

 

It always ends up fluffy, soft and sticky, I think that's desirable in rice, but it depends on what you're making with it.

I use the large one 0000 quality. I prepare it with usually x3 water(by eye), sea salt and garlic. I serve it with some oil. I prefer it with meat or fried onions and eggs.

3 ladies rice bag (jasmine long grain)

rice wash twice always

1 : 1.5 rice to water ratio but it depends.

rice is to remain pure until it is cooked.

only the sauces from whatever foods you have may taint it's innocence.

Basmati usually.

 

I just boil it for 10 minutes with a pinch of salt, judge the water ratio with my eye. None of that fancy shit.
