  1. I'm writing a post here because the topic needs to be refreshed. Matt-Scott and the administration agreed that they will increase the limit on items in the inventory, It's about weapons locker, themes, song, equippments and etc In an interview Matt tell that it will be done. In inteview Matt don't decide whether it would be an option to buy, or maybe in the event game, everyone does not say anything... During the events, there was more than one occasion, for add some prizes like this... but everyone seemed to forget about it. there were events with such a win a few years ago and no one saw the problem. They always said yes, and nothing doing. again.. there were events with such a win a few years ago and no one saw the problem. Can someone from our wonderful administration finally share any possibility to increase these lockers. any possibility... Yes I know Matt promised more content for this year... Well, I'm not going to talk about this topic because He has time until the end of the year And yes i don't have slots to receive my permanent weapon without deleting another permanent weapon (i am sad)

    Basic Ideas [Updated]

    Just some basic stuff. I'll keep updating it. 1. Speedometer 2. An option to delete all read and empty messages. 3. Improved music studio. More tools to create better sounding music. UNFINISHED 4. An option to only see weapons of your choosing. Perfect if you have a big gun collection. 5. Being able to move and resize parts of the HUD. 6. There is a 30% chance of pedestrians fighting back when being mugged, kicking or knocking down a player and escaping. When players are creating chaos in public, on rare (5% chance) occasions, a pedestrian might attack a player from a distance with his/her handgun and then run away. When pedestrians are being hijacked, there is a 20% chance of them dragging players out of the vehicles and speeding away. If a player bumps into an NPC while walking, they might get angry and push the player. NPC's get scared when a gun is being aimed at them. NPC's can no longer be killed with one shot. NO WAY IN HELL IM ANIMATING THAT FOR FREE POOR PEDESTRIANS NEED SOME LOVE 7. Making city more lively by adding stray/domestic animals like cats, dogs and rats, more birds. To prevent any form of animal cruelty in game, animals cannot be ran over or shot. Animals can be seen in random places through out the city. If getting too close, birds(pigeons, crows, seaguls) will fly away and rats will start hissing at the players and run away. 8. Adding helicopters as props, when players hear a helicopter ambience, they will also see them from a distance, flying in straight line and disappearing. 9. Bobby Pin consumable. 10. Doors can be destroyed by bullets or explosions. 11. Ability for players to throw grenades from the passenger seats. 12. When you fire a rocket launcher, your teammates can get hurt from a back blast if they are standing too close behind you. 13. When your shotgun is full, you can add +1 round by pressing reload. 14. Ability to shoot while climbing ladders, when pressing LMB, your character is holding on the ladder with one hand and holds a gun in the other hand. But, you can only shoot to one side that you have chosen by pressing V before getting on the ladder. This ability deactivates after you empty your magazine or by pressing R(reload) at anytime, then press W or S to climb or descend. Only works for secondaries and submachine guns. Cannot switch weapons while on the ladder. 15. Ability to do a roll when jumping from higher than 10m to reduce the loss of speed, hold W + Shift + [spacebar] while in mid air perform a roll and keep running.   3. I propose to change the mechanics of weapons purchased for in-game money. For a more adequate perception of the purchase of weapons for a limited period, it is enough just to change the phrase about rent and "remaining time" to "weapon wear". Thus, buying a weapon from a liaison person does not seem delusional. The very essence of "Weapon Rent" is unsettling. The rented weapon does not feel like your own and your loved ones. So the weapon will also have to be bought, but call it maintenance or repair. Let's say the weapon was bought for 10 days, even if it works for 10 days, but for its extension it will not be necessary to "buy", but to "repair" it. You can also add a wear scale and the ability to extend the life of the weapon, for example, on the fifth day for half the price, but not allow the total durability to be exceeded for more than 10 days. The player will feel the weapon as his own, and phantom game mechanics will be added to maintain his equipment, such as fixing a car so that it does not break. Weapons bought permanently, let them differ in essence in that their durability will not fall. Explaining this by the fact that (for example) it was produced at a factory and has a lifetime warranty. As an additional idea, the mechanics of the "license" for the security forces and the "wear" of the weapon from criminals will fit well into the lore of the game. Thus, the security forces will renew the license for the weapon for its further use, and the criminals will be outlawed, and they are trying to keep the weapons that they have, since they are getting them illegally and they do not need a license for their actions This game mechanic also will add a nice variety and give the factions another difference from each other, not just the ability to arrest or rob. I really hope that you will listen to this small "project" to improve the atmosphere in the game. I have been playing at APB for many years. And I have always been disgusted with using "rented weapons" simply because they are "rented". Everything is logical with car rental, but not with weapons. Thank you.

  6. ALIG 762 is in a bad state - the weapon is just not capable to fullfill its role. Compared to the SHAW 556 it performs worse on every front - slow firerate, high weight, bad accuracy at all ranges(exept medium), and high recoil. It's only upside is hard damage, however even that feels useless, considering any rocketlauncher or a grenade would do a better job, as explosive damage passes through Steel Plating Mod. It would be a plus if you could shoot this weapon out of a car, therefore giving it an upper edge over other hard damage weapons, but its not, therefore its almost completly useless. The way to buff it would probably be increasing it's maximum accuracy, making it viable at longer ranges and maybe buffing it's soft damage to make it a 4 shot kill. Its a heavy machinegun for christ's sake, why it takes the same amount of shots to kill as PMG's tiny bullets?
  7. Hello! If you are new to apb and want to pick up some weapons from the armas market place, here are some suggestions for you! I only recommend buying account lifetime weapons as you can have it on every character in your account You can’t go wrong to choose weapons with 3 open slots as you can put mod freely on those weapon. However, some preset weapon on armas has perfect mod on them and with a cheaper price. Choosing them over the 3 slots version can save you some g1c and you can have a fully configured weapon on your new characters. Weapons not listed below doesn’t mean they must be bad, u can always test them out! Ok lets get into it! Assault rifles: COBR-A -Can’t be bought from npc -An assault rifle version of joker rifle -It has a slower ttk and high damage when compare with other assault rifles -It is extremely accurate and can run and gun -It may not be the best in any aspect, but it is a very good weapon for newbie FAR “Spearhead” - Can’t be bought from npc unless you’ve unlock it in pervious event (FAR Charger) - A mix of ntec and star, all round weapon -It is fun to use, but it is not a must get weapon as you have to use it just like star and ntec Atac (3 slots/ patroller) -Can’t be bought from npc -Fast firing, no recoil, hold mouse1 and w to win -As known as gay tec -Will get many whispers requesting you to uninstall -It has 57m range but due to poor precision, it is more like a close range weapon Joker cr5 (3 slots/ pr2) -It can be bought from npc -Reskin of ntec -It’s a ntec, you can’t go wrong with it -pr2 got everything you need for a ntec with a cheaper price Raptor45 - Can’t be bought from npc -It’s like a more precise atac, can be fired fully automatic down range -It has a slightly slower ttk and small magazine size (22) -idk why but not many ppl would complaint about this weapon -You really don’t need any mod on it -Condor(legendary) is a nerfed version imo Semi-auto rifle Oscar rifle -It will be unlocked at the very last stage of game(2 slot version) -Can run and gun with a very good accuracy and decent time to kill -A burst fire rifle, not newbie friendly Joker rifle “Punchline” -It can be bought from npc -Can run and gun -This preset got what you need for a joker rifle with a cheaper price Obir “Vladivostok” -It can be bought from npc -Mostly for mid-long range fight -3-round burst fire rifle, not newbie friendly but very very strong -This preset got what you need for a obir with a cheaper price Sub-machine gun VAS-C2 Trouble maker -can’t be bought from npc -very strong close range weapon with insane fast ttk -have to fire in marksmanship mode unless you are hugging your enemy -Only smg I suggest you to get from armas, or go get a pmg and put cj2/3 on it Sniper rifle Nekrova ISS-b “Dog ear” -Can’t be bought from npc -Just got a nerf on hard damage, it is less effective against vehicles now -4 shot kill auto sniper, still pretty decent weapon N-HVR 243 Scout RT1 -Can’t be bought from npc -A light sniper rifle with cj3 on it, which make it fire really slightly faster -It deals less damage than the HVR762 but it does not slow you down Pathfinder LR PR2 -Can’t be bought from npc -A light sniper rifle with hs1 and ir3 on it -You can do full damage to enemy up to 97m with this version and hs1 provide 5 degree more zoom -It deals less damage than the HVR762 but it does not slow you down Secondary (I know oca nano seems very op to new players but trust me it’s really not even close to good) Colby .45 ap -Broken as f*** -A fbw require higher skill -5 shots kill, 0.8sec ttk -Good range, good accuracy -It does more damage than Ntec-7 Ursus per shot lol -Best secondary imo although I can’t use it well lol N-FA9 “Quick draw pr1” -Other version with longer draw time can be bought from npc -Stupidly fast fire rate with insane ttk (0.63sec) -Super poor accuracy and high recoil -It melts ppl when u are hugging them -Noob friendly, just spray and pray ACT44 golden marksman pr1 -Best friend of smg/ shotgun -Solid 4 shot kill long range secondary with a hunting sight3 on it

  9. I created this account for the sole reason of this post. So lets get started. Permanent weapons are a big deal in this game. Whether they are Account Permanent and bought from Armas or Character Permanent and bought at the Joker Distribution store, we all have some or are attempting to get them. Over time we build quite a nice arsenal, but whats to happen to the couple of weapons we don't use anymore. Weapons cast into the shadow of our better weapons, bad drops from Gold Mystery boxes, low end loyalty rewards, or just weapons we've grown not to use anymore. They lay dormant in our lockers and very rarely, if ever, get to see the light of day. A way to not only solve the problem with these weapons but also maybe fix the miserable experience for new players would be a trade system. Okay, here are the details. I imagine players to literally trade these weapons like they would clothing, cars, symbols, etc. There is a couple of minor changes with these though. Account permanent Weapons and Character Permanent Weapons get their own symbols to help clarify what they are and to prevent scamming. For instance, Account perm would get a large red "AP" in the top right of the weapon symbol, while Character perm would get a "CP". With this addition, a new tab of the market place would be required. Legendary weapons currently occupy the "Weapons" tab, they would be moved to their own "Legendary" tab. I would add a new feature to the market, being bartering. This would work by the seller choosing to except other weapons in exchange for their own. Players could add multiple weapons to the "accepted payment" option. Also, when trading in the market, players would HAVE to trade AP (account permanent) for AP, and CP (character permanent) for CP. When trading person to person, this rule would not apply. Now, how could this help the new players? Simple, as previously mentioned there are many accepted payment methods for weapons. Allowing players to trade JT and in game cash to other players for their permanent weapons would open up opportunities for new players to get their hands on some pretty good stuff. A veteran might not see a one slot weapon as a useful thing to keep around, but to the bronze player who picked up the game a couple days ago it would be a god send. This also takes away the well known disadvantage new players have, gives them something to work towards, benefits the sellers, and allows for a more dynamic market withing the game. If you do have any ideas or things you would change, I'd really like to hear them.

Hi As i am a person who switches weapons alot i am very frustrated by the fact that u cant put a weapon or weapons as favorite and thus put them at the top of ur inventory, making it easyer to switch during combat. I will go even further and ask that it might be discussed that u might add premade setups linked the the outfits, that it remembers the weapons etc, so when in combat u can easely change from rifleman to shotgunner or demolition man. that your mods, weapons and even outfit change just by the click of a button. Than i would like to ask that if there is time for it (no priority what so ever) u add a search option in the mail section, i currently have 499 unopened mails, this mainly being unopened weapons and vehicles, if i were able to search between them to find the weapon i need, just by typing it, that would be great, thank you

    Hey, So i am one of the few that really want to know is little orbit planning on making the temptress a weapon available in armas once again?? and to get it as a perm weapon because i have been wanting that gun variant for a while now and i cant get it anymore so pleace lo make it available for ppl again.

  13. After testing for a while, I noticed cooling jacket doesn't work in marksmanship mode for the N-Tec 7c 'New Glory'. It works fine when hipfired though. I see no reason for it to not work while in marksmanship mode, so I am assuming it is a bug. I also did a quick google and someone already did a video shooting the gun side-to-side with and without cooling jacket 3:
  14. LO, can you please remove the Weapon Drop only for the Legendary JMB weapons?! I and i think other players worked hard to get some Legendarys over the time and some spend much money on JMB's to get theyr dream come true and grab a special Legendary of interest. I have no complain if the Legendarys dropping in RIOT, because there is a Legendary spawn and it is a BR like mode. But cmon, pls not in normal Districts.. What are you others think about the drop for legendarys outside RIOT? Please discuss... @MattScott

  16. Idea is old and inactual as there been price readjustments and other changes which made it obsolete. ~ Mitne, 2020 Hey. Mitne with another "revolutionary" idea (as with my all ideas, probably second human already benefit from it). What if we add "weapon subscription" option to ARMAs? TL:DR at the bottom What is weapon subscription? - Weapon subscription is my name for option in which you subscribe for weapon for some time and at the moment of paying off price of gun with subscription you receive permanent version of it. What is purpose of it? - There several purposes of such feature: Players might consider getting subscription to try out weapon since it will be something like temporary 3-days or 30-days lease but you gain chance to get it permantely if you pay rest of price. It sure adds to attraciveness to current non-subscribing timed leases (my whole new suggestion is to replace 30 day leases with that option). What would it cover? - Can cover both character or account-wide options. My suggestion would be character-wide options as there is option to expand to account. Economically it sounds right for developer (additional pay along way). How would it work? - It's pretty simple. Let's take Joker CR-5 as example of how it would work. Current price of character-bound Joker CR-5 on ARMAs is 2,999 G1C (2399 G1C with premium) Depends on what type of time stretch you want to give it, usual options in my opinion would be 6 months, one year and two years. Fee would be monthly in my case. I think one year option is the most sound one so I will give example on it. For normal account without premium it would be 2,999 G1C / 12 ~ 250 G1C, for premium account it would be 2,399 G1C / 12 ~ 200 G1C. In both cases you might notice player would lose basically 1 G1C with that option, last subscription fee can be lowered by 1 G1C to correct that of course. Subscription can be cancelled or renewed at any time. Lease tied with subscription runs out the moment G1C balance on account is not meeting subscription monthly fee in moment of it running out. Subscription CAN be renewed either indefintely or with some sane time limit (1-2 months for example) after failing to pay monthly fee. In my opinion 30 days lease should be removed to make option for that as it would make subscription "better option". If you though decide to keep 30 day lease (I don't know why), I would decide to make price of it be the same with monthly fee or lesser. I discourage also against making subscription overall price bigger than character-bound weapon on it's own as people would either save up money or resign from trying. So what can I gain from it? - As customer - different option to pay for permanent weapons which bases on "leasing" type of loan. You own something as long as you pay your loan. As developer - possible bigger income from ARMAs TL:DR: Replace or add option similiar to timed leases (in that case monthly lease) which would at the time of paying up price of character-bound weapon give permanent version of that weapon. So... what are you opinions? Would you fix something or that? Would you approve or disapprove of it? Please, comment in the section.
  17. HELLO, EVERYONE! AT FIRST, HAPPY NEW YEAR. Well, I'm here because I tried the support and it's been 10 days and nobody answered me, and maybe here, I can have a greater visibility of them. So, I'm an immigrant from HOPLON the Brazilian server. After the immigration, I received all my items right in the email. However, after a few updates, my oca nano "Connoisseur" disappeared and I realized that it is bugged. At the time of the Brazilian server, I had bought her for the account. So I realized that when I create a new character, it comes in the email with all the items for account, but when I get it, it doesn't appear in my inventory. I hope you can help me, thank you.     N-Tec 7 'Ursus'

    I just got a N-Tec 7 'Ursus' out of the golden boxes which you get from buying items in the arma store. I trade trading this item with a friend but even though i refurbished it i still can't trade the item or put it on the marketplace. So my question is since i see everyone trading it and been asking around in social why i can't trade it. other people don't seem to know the answer either is the weapon i have bugged ?
  20. Let's discuss the weapons. In a good way. This isn't a post to ask for nerfs and buffs. Just to say which weapon is your favourite and why. My favourites. Obeya CR762 and SLR762 and VBR Huntress Well, I like to use Semi Autos for any combat situation in APB. Back in 2013 when I started to play the game Obeya CR762 was my main weapon of choice. I still using it tho. But it's the Re-Skin SLR762. (I bought all 3) :v I bought it all because it's based on FN FAL (British L1A1 to be more specific). A weapon that I still want to own IRL.

  23. Hello guys! Just bought the Shredder Eb Pr3 from armas and i found it very good against silvers however i found it almost useless against golds. Maybe im not good enough for facing golds with it or the weapon is bad and i got lucky with it? What do you guys think about the weapon? Is it good with the preset mods or not, if its not then what do you suggest for mods?
  24. Hey guys, I noticed almost no one uses Extended Magazines mod on weapons. I feel like this mod is poorly rewarding seeing how big is the penalty for using it. Lets take EM3 for example, 30% extra magazine, wich it +3 bullets each 10 rounds your weapon has. Adding a 60% extra reload time. I think almost no one around uses this because it's not worth to be able to shoot 9 extra rounds and having to reload for 2-3 extra seconds. I'd suggest to: 1- Increase the given ammo to: EM1 = 20%, EM2 = 40%, EM3 = 60%, 2- Reduce the extra reload time to: EM1 = 10%, EM2 = 20%, EM3 = 30% The idea is to make mods more worth of using, since you have to sweat to get weapons with open slots and then you find that most of mods give you a big penalty to earn a small upgrade. I main Alig + Kevlar 3, I really love slow firerate LMGs in every shooter, and I was thinking of getting the SWARM 'Killer Bee, wich seems to be an hybrid between the N-SSW 74 Dvah and the Alig.
