APB with significantly better graphics without any engine upgrade? Maybe some of you already heard or even played some all time classics like Portal or Half Life lately which have been remastered with Nvidia's technology RTX Remix. It's a technology which supports games starting with DirectX 8 and newer. This should include APB since it's running on DirectX 9 as far as I've read it in the system requirements. I understand that some of us might not enable it in matches because of it's downsides regarding frame rate. But speaking as a content creator, this might give us a huge quality boost for our content resulting in making the game more appealing to a wider audience. At least until we get a real native overhaul regarding lighting, textures and so on. @MattScott Any thoughts about the practicality of this solution?

Hello, I haven't found any solutions on this forum nor on the internet, so I'm posting here. My issues are quite simple: - The first one is about civilians. When they are far from me and in a dark area, they are surrounded with green pixels, green dots (a great majority of them around their legs and crotch). - The second one is about car decals and characters. I saw one player whose character was nothing but a big flashy green brick, which made it hard to aim. I also saw a few cars which had decals, but could not see them until I was at CQB range (that is to say, the car was plain aluminium or metallic until I got on its roof). A friend mine using older and weaker components does not have these problems. I am running on an i5-7600k 4.3 ghz, a MSI Geforce GTX 1060 6GB with a MSI Z270 Gaming Plus (16gb RAM of course) on Win10 64Bits. Hello everyone, I'm having a problem with my FPS in game. My PC specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7300HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design 6GB vram Windows 10 64-bit RAM 8.0 GB I'm using extreme cooling on my pc + coolpad, my power options are maximum performance, drivers are up to date, latency is 1-20, (>100 mbps) and everything else seems pretty much fluent. A few weeks ago I updated my GTX 1060 drivers and I noticed better FPS (60-70) , then i tried to download Advanced APB launcher, some things went bad, I didn't wanted to mess up and i reinstalled APB from steam and now i'm having 10-18 FPS on max settings and about 40-60 FPS on complete potato graphics settings with lowest resolution. It's strange considering the game is freshly installed. I know it's not optimized, APB is more CPU intensive and so on but I think there's a way to increase FPS since my PC is running AC Odyssey, Witcher 3, Skyrim with tons of mods and ENB's , Shadow of Tomb Raider etc fluently on max settings with amazing FPS. I'm looking for permanent solution but temporary things like Advanced APB settings, pre-made low-graphic configs and stuff like that are welcomed too (if they're legal, idk )

So ive had this problem for long and i don't know why , i started playing the game on Ultra and ive had 30fps , then swithed to low and i still had 30fps , went to minimal and 30fps is still there ! ive downloaded Advanced launcher recently and messed around with some of the texture i set them to the lowest possible (till the contacts look like a potato) and geuss what ? Still have ****ing 30fps now im sure i don't have an fps limit cause i rarely hit 45fps randomly , so is this just for me or apb got a bad optimization?

Hey there, so I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with my game's decals as my char/car decals looks really blurry and pixelated. Previous Approaches :- 1- Delete Config folder from APB Game and Engine folder then repair using the game launcher. 2- Use advanced launcher and set quality to ultra. 3- Optimizing my Nvidia Control Panel 3D settings. 4- Reinstalling programs in TPI folder. 5- Manually editing the .ini files in the config folder. 6- Spending 3-4 hours daily surfing the web for an answer. 7- Running the game with stock settings and Advanced Launcher settings on an M.2 SSD with and without a symbolic link to an HDD for the Assetcache folder. 8- Running the game with stock settings and Advanced Launcher settings on both of my HDDs. 9- Running the game with stock settings and Advanced Launcher settings on a 12GB Ram Disk. Proposed Approches :- 1- Complete reinstall of the game (Currently having internet issues so that's not really an option). 2- Your suggestions ? As suggested by in-game GM Yuvie, I'm posting this on the forums. Some of my fellow beta testers have had some issues not long ago with Battleye falsely flagging specific AMD Vanguard drivers (drivers being tested by us). This apparently doesn't apply to publicly released drivers. Sadly I cannot disclose any information about these drivers, but having never experienced any issue with Battleye myself, what should I expect ? Is my account at risk or will Battleye just block my drivers whenever I try to start APB ? Thanks in advance.
